On Down with Love Feb 3, 2012
I had to struggle with the first 5 episodes. They were Ok (enough to not drop it), but there were quite a few things that bothered me. 1. The facial expressions by Ella Chen. I felt they were too much and not cute. I don't think she's pretty(put away the pitchforks, it's just IMO)2. I did not like Jerry Yan. I've never seen him bfore, his face looks either way too skinny or he's had surgery. He looked kind of plastic to me. 3. The beginning of the romance from HIS side seemed forced and a bit fake.
After ep. 5 I WAS IN LOVE. I loved how different from the norm the story became. I liked how in this triangle the girl is really trying to work hard in THAT relationship. I LOVED how HIS love was steady and he never became a jerk. So, Overall it was very enjoyable. The ending was a bit boring and was just fine. This drama was enjoyable. I recommend it.

Thank you. I still have to get to that one (Queen Seon Duk)but I'm not too familiar with those sageuk? type. It's in my Hulu list to watch. I'll give it. Thank you for recommend in it. I saw Kim Nam Gil in Portrait of a Beauty and he also did a great job there. That was a really good movie too.

If you analyze it too much you will not like this. You kind of just have to roll with it. If you are able to do that, then this is an interesting watch.

This is my first Japanese drama and I really enjoyed it. It was balanced between the humor and the sad moments. Highly recommend if you want something light and funny, without a lot of time commitment.

OMG! After writing a review for this, I decided to rewatch and now I feel my review fell short. This is even more enjoyable the second time around. The first time I was wondering where everything was going, so I did not have a chance to enjoy and really realize how freaking awesome the dialogue in this soap is. It reminds me of why I loved the West Wing S0 much. I love witty, fast flowing dialogue, with underlying meaning in what is said. This show has it in spades. Even the characters names mean something.I even have favorite quotes! I was laughing so hard now that I can get the jokes better. And my, the chemistry btwn those two, WOW! The ost is awesome, the moment the theme song by Clazique Horan(can't get out of head) appears right at the perfect moment of the story line. I don't understand ppl who think this is boring. I love it even more this time. Why isn't more popular?

Excellent review @JadeDarcy! I had this on the backburner for a while now but your review enticed me to start…
Thank you! I really did like it. It simply worked for me. I didn't even mention the chemistry between the main characters was off the charts. They pretty much seemed two steps from kissing even if they were fighting. I hope you like it as well.

Title Skip Beat!
is it as good as the anime?
It's a really good anime and even better Manga. I haven't seen this live drama, but the anime is a must watch if you like funny, light anime.

This was my first Taiwanese drama and it made me a fan of Mike He and Cyndi Wang. It made me like some things more than K-dramas. Such as the lack of awkwardness when there is physical interaction such as a simple hug or touch of a shoulder. I liked this a lot even though it was far from perfect. The ending did feel rushed, but overall I think it was worth the time I spent watching.

This was my first Korean Drama. It left me scratching my head wondering what in the world was going on and completely hooked to find out if there were more like it. I don't think I can forget this drama, though I've seen many others since, that I think are way better than this one.

One of my favorites. I felt like this story knew where it was going from the beginning and that helped the story feel more wholesome. I did have a bit of a hard time the first 4 episodes, but after that I was addicted. It was 30 episodes, but I did not feel the story was dragging and felt they made good use of each one of those episodes.

This drama was above and beyond any other KDrama I had seen, UNTIL it got 2 episodes extension and then it seems to loose what made great in the first place.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one (until the last few minutes of the ending, which left me confused). My most memorable scene is when in the elevator the two leads attempt a kiss and can't bc of their hats. The male lead then takes her hat off in such a way, that I never imagined would make me feel like a voyeur. This is the ONLY Segeuk drama I've ever seen and one of my favorite Kdramas overall.
