First of all, excellent acting by each of the cast, couldn't expect better.
This story was a psychological fight between Park jae ho and Choo sang eun, where the writer decided to side with CSE and did PJH dirty. Both were equally EVIL. I mean both PJH and CSE were murderers, both of them had no regret or guilt of it, both kept on going wrong paths to hide their crimes. (At the end writers made him lose patience and act violently, if he wud have kept his witty nature till the end he wud have won)
Moon Joo run was a real nut case in the story. She killed her husband for what? Her son? Who was already depressed to have a dad as a murderer, now has a mom who killed his dad. Son's major concern being... " my dad is a murderer, will I become a murderer like him too" .....guess he got the answer cuz now his mom and dad both are murderers. And let us say that she killed him due to the heat of moment, why spare the woman who was extorting money from them? Just because she was pregnant, I think jails have some medical services for such cases. Or to make friends with her? she can have a murderer friend but not husband. She was truly unsound mentally.
It's a sequel to s1, as the story would move Forward from the end of S1, the ML will travel back in time and create new adventures.
If you are someone who like to see the chemistry and emotions between the characters you would be missing the real emotion between those characters and won't enjoy it's full potential.

If you are not a one into emotions and more into storyline and adventures then you don't need to watch s1 before this. (U might miss some elements, which u just need to fill up by ur imagination).
