Song Zu'er is really perfect for this role and she was born for this character, she made the concept of the story believable. Perfect casting! the costumes are breathtakingly awesomes and reminds me of Love Like the Galaxy.
watch up to 14 episodes but I'm not into the story at all. the plot is interesting but it really lacks proper introduction of the characters for me to care enough about what will happen to them in the next episodes, sometimes I even struggle to remember their name. also there's no introduction into this warring period and it really confuses me. i really wanted to watch through it to the end but I couldn't care for the characters.

I like Nirvana in Fire, but I love Empresses in the Palace. Sun Li is phenomenal and iconic!

I'm clocked in! last political intrigue drama that I genuinely enjoy was The Long Ballad, Love of Nirvana disappointed me. pls don't disappoint me, fingers crossed!

wth! season 2 for where? I'm just speechless about this ending. it should have ended in episode 34 with addition of few scenes to give it a sad ending.

whenever they show or mentioned that evil fox spirit I would just be frustrated and annoyed due to annoying villain Shi Ji in FSM, I couldn't remember how many she was killed but survived at the end🙄 it seems like the evil fox spirit is Peng Xiaoran, she was gorgeous in that flashback. seated for her!
