That time was gone, golden time of cdramaland is likely no more. Believe me that I used struggle finishing a 40 episode dramas nowadays. This is just about right episode for me.

Why?

Well, many production companies might participate production of a single drama you're right. If Stellar Pictures wasn't involved in it there's no way they gonna put there logo in the posters.

Not fan of the genre and not fan of contemporary setting. I won't force myself to watch it and ended up hating it for no reason. Bye!

If you look at the released poster today there's definitely a trademark of Stellar Pictures, look at producers in the crew section there is Gong Yu who's attached to bunch of that studio's drama. I said I'd lower my expectations or did I ask anyone to do that? Wtf does that concerned you. Mtchewww, annoying!

I just realized that it is the same production company behind Fox Spirit Matchmaker, I'll have to lower my expectations.

Is this standalone drama or a sequel? I started episode but I'm not getting it.

If you truly read it to understand you might find out that my critism is directed towards the direction and final cut we get as someone indicated that they might cut the real shot due to censorship. I did compared that only torture scene with yet to air drama that you guys find it offensive, so don't take it personal. I'm not a hater and that doesn't make me a hater as an audience looking for entertainment.

To all of you saying that I compared it to TSoPG that wasn't fair. Okay let's rewind back to War of Faith, A Dream of Splendor... If you think that I clearly attacked LLD then you're really insecure about your fav and you know her faults.

10 episodes in but I really don't feel the driving force and eagerness to complete this drama. That torture scene in episode 9 completely put me off and found it ridiculous, if you want to do torture scene do it right not just fake it on top fake acting. I mean cmon, look at yet to air drama The Story of Pearl Girl's torture scenes was really realistic. That sequence was really bad. Also the other thing that I found funny is she couldn't ride a horse😂😂😂 it is either a back of body double shot or her upper body during a ride scene. It is fate between me and RJL's dramas that I couldn't pass 10 episode no matter how hard I tried with the exception of One & Only only.

Just my instinct, also it is Tencent drama so there's some possibilities.
