Huang Jingyu's acting in that morgue scene is spot on. The disbelief and denial in his face when he was asking where Lao Yu is. And the acceptance and grief when he saw his body. It was so heartbreaking. 😭

Actions speak louder than words. He always say that he misses them and that he wants to be with them but he doesn't do anything to make that happen. True. Lin Luxiao is held to a higher standard. He was removed from being a Director for something that is definitely not his fault. Yet Lou Mingye has destroyed the unity and harmony of the entire firefighting brigade but he hasn't faced any punishment or anything at all. His ideas are good. The new equipments can help a lot in minimizing the lives lost while they are extinguishing fires. But he doesn't deserve to be a leader. He doesn't have what it takes to be a leader.

It's so unfair. People shouldn't be able to leave a rating if they didn't watch at least half of the drama.

I'm referring to that part where you said "people are bummed that even the later episodes still have a bigger focus on the firefighting process rather than the leads". As much as they want to include more romance scenes, they can't. It has to be a hardcore firefighter series if they want it to pass the trial.

I noticed that too. It's so weird because Lin Luxiao is his master and one of the reasons why he chose to be a firefighter.

This drama won't pass trial if the drama will focus more on the romance part. Especially after the mess left by FOMH. This drama literally had to go through retrial after FOMH just to make sure that the mistakes committed in FOMH won't be repeated.
