I get where you are coming from. it seemed as though a lot of the plot and characters were dropped even before they had issues.
And you can brake up with someone without being that inhumane. Tor was dead to me after that.

I read that the director is in talks with Netflix. So fingers Crossed.

Basically the studio thought it was better to give their viewers THAT than loose some coin...
But! The director and Author are apparently in talks with Netflix to remake the series..

Its because they were filming it as it was airing. Then Covid-19 happened during filming. SaiZon/DewBlue/JapanTan/JrZen scenes hadn't been completed yet. The Studio wouldn't let the director pause production cause they "didn't have something else for the time slot" So he had to piece together a series with what he had.

I feel the same way. This is exactly why shows are not filmed as they air.
Instead of that ten minute slideshow they gave us, why not use that time to explain what happened to the other 4-5 couples that just dropped of the face of the earth. Hell, they could of animated it and have Zon just narrate.

It's such a good comparison! They have always been payed so little and in the past treated Horribly (homophobia/Racism) by the production/crew But they form some of the strongest bonds working together and make the real money at all the cons. (wow this is like BL series)

I find this whole situation very sad. The premise of this show was great. But now its become apparent that story and characters have been dropped to stroke the flames of one couples popularity. Its demeaning to the other actors on this show that thought they would have decent story and screen time. Even putting aside that SaiZon's story is being overshadowed. There are also 4 other couples in this series that has not been showcased. These actors/characters were in promos, trailers and posters. So we know they were originally going to have their own story-lines. Yet they have been shelved. It is not fair to the actors and its not fair to the fans that wanted to see their story unfold. We are on episode 9 of 12 and not a lot of has really happened. With only 3 episodes left and next weeks episode being another fan-service focus episode, (Because the director said they did not have the "Time" to film other scenes) I don't believe we will get much story progression for other characters
Especially now with Covid-19 shutting down many productions. There just isn't enough time to explore the other couples in more depth, And frankly give the plot that started this series a proper ending.
I truly hope the episodes are increased and Someone can get the series back on track.
The fans who wanted to see this unique story unfold and the Cast deserve it.
