Again, Korean to English translations lose a lot of context and subtext. It's like calling your best friend a sister or brother or having a friend who you consider like a sibling. They never went beyond to an actual adopted bro-sis relationship.

I think you're confusing their oppa-dongsaeng relationship with a literal one. When she called him oppa and he considered her a dongsaeng, it's the type you call people that you're comfortable with. They never referred to each other as chin-oppa or chin-dongsaeng. The language itself implies the relationship between the two, as a Korean speaker I can assure you they did not have the literal bro-sis relationship.

Basically Goblin has the ongoing theme of rebirth so many people like to think of TYH as the second lead couple's next life. It's their happy-ending drama cause there are a lot of similarities between their ending in Goblin and TYH. The writer of the drama actually wrote the show with these two in mind after watching Goblin. To be totally satisfied, I recommend watching both! :)

Also, I'm back on my yearly re-watch of Goblin. It's been 5 years since I first saw this drama and after multiple re-watches, the content just gets richer and richer. So many details and little moments that truly hit you.
