I knew it, i have read part of the novel and also watch the anime version..
The actor that played mu chen, his face is just dont click with the ancient-drama-type. He just cant bringbout the playfull and kind mu chen that described in the novel. In my opinion at least, but people have other opinions..
What im saying is, i kinda like the story and i watched tidbit of the movie, it has good cgi, but unfortunately i cant stand the cast , sigh

I hope it ends in one season cause chinese dramas rarely have the same cast for next season??? just like ever night season 2.
Or at least, if they make it more than one season, they have green-light-news for the next season, cause sometimes chinese drama does cancel next season without reason, just like fight break spheres??.
Overall, cant wait tho, cus i really love the novel and the anime adaptation. So my expectation is high, and the cast, xiao zhan's so handsome..

My only complain is the actor. He has too young face....

same universe or parallel universe or something. If i remember right, the novel has the same author, but the relation of the story is not profound. So, u can read it or in this case, watch it separately.

Yes, based on the novel, Ning Que and Haotian-Sangsang still have many adventures. But, i think, the drama version will be ended here, not sure tho. Ofc, im happy if there will be season 3, but if the actress changed, I dunno, if I still can watch it or not. Cos, the actress who plays Sangsang is the reason I watch ever night up till now.
