it's my pov,XL fans always said that tong hua was cruel to XL but for me she was more cruel to Jing,bcz she made XL's character design best.she writes a special chapter for him then how could she was cruel to him?nowadays most people liked villainous character who shown to be cruel at first but in the end he does so many thing without wanting anything,thus he becomes audience fav,in the other hand jing ends up with her but this character gets so many hatred by novel fans,even i get wrong review about him before reading the novel that he was just a leftover or just a option to xiao yao.

i will be honest i loved XL,cried for him in the end but it was his own choice.
That's why i have said that Jing is better to be a sad boy

did i defend his behavior ?I just said he is a snake demon so he will be abusive with both man and woman .I never even liked the abusive scenes at all,not even romanticize those scenes,but your comments are full of hatred like the focus shifts from him soon where all leads are important and this is not about only romance,if romance was the main thing then xuan wouldn't be the ML.

they are followinng the original story so they can't cut him for you and in the novel jing was less important than him,you know he will be the endgame so your comments only shows your insecurity.

Yes he prioritize her where xiang liu prioritize duty and xuan prioritize power.but still in the end most readers get triggered by the ending bcz XL has most fans.Jing obviously a perfect guy but a character like him is better to be sad boy.
