i did not say the small town people should do nothing too, I meant that the other people in the small town could have similar feelings like being overwhelmed or being tired of doing the same thing everyday or wanting to live a different life in a different city. For example the highschoolers, the boy who maybe does not want to fullfill the parents wishes for his future and the girl who wants to escape her broken family life. I was just talking about similar feelings. By highlighting the "doing nothing" aspect i mean talking about it more and finding out why many people want to do nothing and take a break from reality. Honestly it is just something i would have prefered for the plot instead of the murder mystery. It is just what i thought the plot might be. I now know the webtoon has the murder mystery too its just my personal opinion and wish.

I kinda feel the same, i think the murder plot was so out of place..if the grandma had to die i wish it would have been a natural cause and the episode would have been something about healing and moving on and cherishing moments and the people around us or something like that
And people seem to dislike the FL for the same reason they like the ML? Overly nice to the point of getting pushed…
I really like both FL and ML i think they are petty realistic thb... they have similar characters but just because both are more on the quiet and friendly side does not mean they are the same. I think FL was a people pleaser her whole life, thats why she is kinda pushed around but you cant expect her to just change so fast. Ofc it would have been nice to see her standing up for herself more but i think we can see that in the latest episodes. I like how she stays true to herself even if people are mean to her
i really love this drama !!! Up until episode 9/10 i really liked the story. Personally i really wish they wouldnt have added the murder plot...i think it kinda ruined the vibe of the whole drama. I think the main conflict in the drama should have been something else, like being mentally drained from daily life and work and the "doing nothing" should have been more highlighted. I thought the plot of the drama will be something along the lines of her escaping her daily life and struggles by going to a small town where she meets people who go through the same or a similar situation, so they escape reality togehter. I think many people can relate to that feeling of wanting to escape reality for a moment... Something like this should have been the main plot idk. Instead, her reason to leave seoul and work became somehow irrelevant and the murder mystery that kinda came out of nowhere became the main plot...

I am going to watch season 2 now, is is any good so far ? Honestly i only watched season 1 for Somin, and stayed because of somin and jae wooks chemistry. But know somin is not even the FML anymore...i really hope its going too be good with Go Yoon Jung. I really liked her in sweet home tho so maybe i am worried about nothing. I will still miss you somin !!!!!
I am starting season 2 now. I really liked somin and jae wooks chemistry, so i really hope Jae wook and Go Yoon Jung will have good chemistry too. Still i just know i will miss somin.... i really love her, she is such a good actress...
just finished and i loved it !!! Great story, characters and actors!!! Only thing i would have liked to see is what happened to Jae Beom... i feel kinda bad for him because he was manipulated. Great drama overall !!!

Yess this is exactly what i thought too. I just dont understand why they just ignored the new years plot and startet a different one... i think it would have been better if the mountain story was somewhere in the middle of the drama...maybe it would have made more sense.
I loved season 1 but why didnt they continue the story in season 2 ? I wanna know what happened after the new years wish!!! And why are they acting as if Kang buk gu and Ahn so hee were never a thing ? He even wanted to propose to her in the last episode of season 1.... and dont get me started on Mr. nice paper..... WHAT HAPPENED ???
