Thank you for your post. I share some of your concerns. However, I find MDL okay because I have blocked so many people lol.
I am fine with constructive criticisms, but I will block mindless complaining and hating. I just don't have the time for it. I've done this for all my favorite dramas. I go there to talk about my fav dramas, and there are these haters! Not gonna let them ruin my drama. I just block them.
Each hater has their reason to hate. Some are just complainers that are always negative and have to drag every good show for the smallest reasons.
However, people must know this: there are some who trash shows so they can make shows from their own country look better. It's a concerted effort. These people even create burner accounts to do this.
We have to BLOCK haters. I have found MDL perfectly fine when I block the haters.
However, I also don't like it when there are negative people who may not totally trash shows, but nitpick. There are so many nitpickers. They can't enjoy anything. They nitpick constantly. I don't know how they enjoy anything in life like that.
Just realize haters are very unhappy people. Don't let them get you down. Most of us here just want to enjoy a good drama and talk about it.

I really enjoyed King the Land. Yoona was great in it. A def rewatch for me.

I say the same thing. On alot of shows, people just complain and hate.
Even with the greatest shows of all time, I have to suspend disbelief. If you keep picking a show apart, then you can't enjoy anything.
It's a TV show to be enjoyed and to take you on a pleasant escape.
What I do is I just block chronic complainers. I have no time for them.

For the people that complain about the product placements, I believe they do it in Korea because they don't have regular commercials.
Maybe someone can elaborate.

Having said that, everyone is beautiful. We are all beautiful. I firmly believe that.

I have no problem with #1 or #2. They deserve it, But that's a bad pic for #2.

I thought the music in MMH was one of the best I've heard in a kdrama.

First, The Journey. The first ever all english kdrama OST I have come across. Beautiful melody and powerful lyrics. This is actually my favorite song right now.
Second, Pain of Time (the song at the end credits). Haunting.
Third, Bad Liar. The 80s sounding song at the end of alot of the episodes.

And there were other great ones too. All on youtube.

Actually, they should do a time travel kdrama with a huge emphasis on buying stocks.

They didn't really exploit it much in MMH and that was a missed opportunity.
