I have caught up to episode 26 (Mango TV releases 2 episodes every day from Thurs to Sat). I really really like it! Especially the female and male lead. Their chemistry is really good and they are both very cute together. I love their bickering relationship - this does not go away even after they get together. The male lead is very aware of her crush on her mentor and childhood friend Mo Liang, so while it has been a point of conversation between them, they do not exactly result in misunderstandings/tensions. The male lead's second identity - Poseidon. Poseidon is hilarious everytime he appears and makes the drama wacky and unpredictable.

The rest of the plot is ok - the research on the extraction of a new resource is interesting enough. They aren't fantastic, but they are ok! I am mostly living for the hilarious interaction between the leads - female lead appears to be a put-together person in front of everyone else, but shows her real hilarious/unsure/honest self in front of the male lead. Male lead is one of those playboy-types but female lead is never made to feel that she was 2nd best. Loving Ye Hai and An Fei <3

Kinda - this show is set in 2025, so the technology they use is a lot more advanced. They are also researching on the discovery and extraction of a new resource because humanity has almost depleted oil. Male and female lead may have somesort of power that we have yet to see. :)

They get together on episode 25!

I am up to episode 19! The two leads took a little time to warm up to - girl was a little too pushy, and guy was prickly. But at episode 19, I have to say they were HAHAHA-Hilarious as a pair. They are both pretty witty so their bickering is hilarious. The romance is kinda there, but this story is also about family and kinship. They aren't together by episode 19 (but they are cohabiting and pretending to date (in the eyes of the public and the female lead's family) and married (in the eyes of the male lead's mum)).

It used to be free but then people ruined it for us by reposting them elsewhere and stealing their subs. :( They have been amazing about it though! Always trying to make it available to everyone once the project is done. They are trying to limit the number of people watching it because of copyright issues as well. The TV companies tend to be very active in deleting videos while it is airing. So they onky release these videos after they finish airing so that it is less likely to be deleted.

Hi all, episodes 1-16 were based off the book of the same name (凤囚凰 which is loosely translated as Phoenix imprisons Phoenix). The English title for the novel is called "A tale of two phoenixes" and it is exhilarating. However, the rest of the story were kinda made up by the producer, which is why even the main characters' personalities (and intelligence!) were so different. I loved episodes 1-16 because it was about the meeting of two equals and their plotting has always been exciting to watch. From episode 17 onwards, the main leads became obtuse and no so smart. Female lead gets tricked all the time, and the male lead was soooo blind. This was such a letdown because the storytelling during episode 1-16 were fast and snazzy and kept me breathless.. Who is who? Who do they work for? What is real? Haha. I loved it! I am looking forward to Song Wei Long and Guan Xiao Tong's future works. These two have an amazing potential :')

Just watched till episode 6! Very cute. Haha. The female lead returns to being human sometimes but still acts a little like a cat. So the male lead distracts her with grass and she chases it like a cat HAHA. She also gets distracted at the mention of a fish. HAHAHA.

Hahaha. I get really confused too! Plus Shen Qiong was the one who gave that container and "worm" to Li Cu and sent him on this adventure anyway.. That made the Huang guy attack him, and Wu Xie to kidnap him. So is that Shen Qiong with the Wang family? But then the Wang family Shen Qiong said she grew up with Li Cu, so that's why she called him his nickname Ya Li.. But the one who disappeared with her family and appeared in the video wasn't Wang family's Shen Qiong... So confused... hahaha

Hahaha plot holes they may be, I loved this story nonetheless. The storytelling was tight and the whole journey exciting. Hehe

It probably really was a human inside? Because it smelled really bad. I read somewhere that Shen Qiong in the book wasn't Li Cu's childhood friend but her body was just shipped to him.

But the Shen Qiong from the Wang family seemed to have grown up with Li Cu also? Where did the real "Shen Qiong" come from? Also, didn't Su Wan hear "Shen Qiong" in one of the old tapes that was shipped back? Does this mean that Shen Qiong was from the past?

Not exactly! He did give her the divorce letter for her own good, but they reconciled afterwards. Afterwards, he also gave her another wedding to make up to her original one (where she kicked her own carriage door). :)

Watched finished and I liked it!! Gets draggy from episode 36 onwards.. Last few episodes were cute too!

What happens to the side characters? Do the bad guys get punished? :P
