I stumbled upon this show by accident and wondered why the rating was so high. Then I started bingeing it and figured out it's cute as hell without being cringy. I'm really liking it.

Ehhhh.....it's a global online and television series. I'm okay with the filter on him. He is supposed to represent an ideal, so I get it. I have watched many projects with him in it, so I know he's fine already. It's BL entertainment, I think they are supposed to look hyper-idealized, so it doesn't bother me.

That's fine that you find it ridiculous. Please stop watching it so that you don't torture yourself. Find something else to watch that you actually enjoy. Most of us find the costuming absolutely beautiful.

I'm sorry, I wanted to like this, but that ending felt like I was cheated out of the 6 or 7 hours I spent watching this. There was no chemistry between the leads, and to leave the viewer with a weird dead lip kiss and nothing else felt contrived. I get that the masculine-presenting lead must have a had something in his contract that said he didn't have to engage intimately with his costar, but for the audience it felt awkward and dismissive. No, they did not need to do a full-blown NC scene, but an actual kiss and hug to show affection made perfect sense, and it never happened. The cinematography was gorgeous but I found that more interesting than the male lead's relationship. Just make a nature video in the future and leave out the fake romance of these two guys.

Absolutely loved this. It was soooo realistic and not melodramatic (though I like those BL's too) It didnt try to make the characters seem more mature than their ages. I want a sequel.
