In the beginning the plot was all over the place so I was thinking of just dropping it but now there is some semblance of a plot. EXACTLY MY COMPLAINT! The other actress kept doing all of her scenes but now Chenlan knows who she is so i think they are gonna let her keep the scenes.
and yep the fight scenes got better when she lost her powers xD and had to use more swords and fists instead of cringey magic bursts so, so far I am a happy camper!

I am currently watching The legends. I am not gonna lie, I didn't like the drama in the beginning with all the fly fighting and cringe CGIs but I am on episode 8 now and the show is getting better and better. Bai Lu is definitely the star of the show. I want there to be more screentime for her tho and more actual fighting scenes with less camera effects
