I don't think we need anyone to tell us how horrible rape is, or that it is about power and not sex. I get how serious all that is...and if he is guilty than he needs to be in Jail just like any creepy, sick person who would ever ever do this to a woman. But I also get tired of the ridiculousness of the Korean (and otherwise) press. This whole thing has turned into the worst sort of circus. And my snide comments really aren't about me thinking the looks and fame of a man make him above it all... They are about my exasperation with the media machine. Whether fed from the stars/idols themselves or otherwise. Tired of it all. It is messed up beyond words. Most especially for any "innocent victim" caught up in the maelstrom.
