Will the story be told and unfold with a more American TV format in mind? Specifically, in hopes of continuing…
16 eps is the perfect amount. I am glad it won't be extended beyond and the news of others in the future is exciting!

Great list, to be sure. I do get really frustrated about fish kisses too. And those scenes where two people madly…
Oh lord Yes! Last Cinderella...Episode 9. Whew... So sexy.

Me Too Flower's kisses where HOT. I thought Love Rain's kisses were meh. Ah well. I totally agree with Nine, Coffee Prince, Queen In Hyun's man (OMO!!! all the kisses) and Lie To Me. Too bad the rest of Lie To Me stank like poo because those two had off the charts chemistry. What a waste. LOL

I don't know if art is really imitating life here or if the writers are just trying to amp up the drama but I have yet to discover a medical drama that can balance that medical realism with a good mix of drama and comedy... *that makes sense* I long for a TRUE Korean style Grays Anatomy. I don't expect the racy-sexy content to come out of a Kdrama. But with Grays, especially the earlier seasons, they seemed to really do it right. I wish for that kind of Gem to come along in kdrama form.

My problem with them is their hierarchical modes of thinking taking precedent over patient care. In the case of Good Doctor it was a slew of medical doctors having no knowledge of autism and tons of prejudice. I couldn't get passed it for entertainments sake. The drama may have gotten better but I dropped it.

Two Weeks, Master's Sun and Densha Otoko are the three I am really liking. The others are filler to be honest.

Funny I am like you but with the medical dramas... OMO! I have yet to watch one that hasn't driven me crazy! Those go in the drop pile fast! Although, I did watch Cain and Abel twice. 1). SJS...Duh and 2) 1/2 wasn't medical! Lol

Lol. As my drama watching grows and the years go by I'm getting a little less tolerant of the silly/stupid stuff. My pet peeves are growing and bad cliches are the first things to go. I was watching "spoiler blah blah" and two young healthy armed police officers stood there and let an old Ahjussi criminal run away and then seconds later stood scratching their heads at his escape.... I think steam came shooting out of my ears. Why drama?

I watched about 30 minutes of ep 1 and checked out. I think my eyes glazed over at the slow- mo upside down twirl scene and I never recovered. I cheated and checked out some recaps to see if I was missing something and I am glad I dropped it.

LOL I got to about episode 40 and couldn't do it anymore. I have a 30 episode tolerance limit. I've discovered this the long and painful way. Good luck with QSD. Bidam is pretty bad arse though and it is a good drama.

Yes, there were moments/scenes I had to freeze the frame or had to rewind just because he took my breath away. But really, he did such a good job in that movie. And somehow, his character squeezed some sympathy from me even through it all.

It's been such a long time since I was able to watch Viki - due to country restriction - I'm not sure how this…
I've been mostly awol on MDL. I haven't reviewed in a year. But I am still around and 'reading' you is always a pleasure... your peaceful tree themed avatars have nothing to do with my happiness. ;) nothing whatsoever. But your articles and reviews certainly always do. :)

I've noticed that there has been an increase in ads recently and I fear that this move will eventually end up…
I agree. The only time I don't agree is when I pay for a monthly subscription. Which is supposed to help with their upkeep... which is the function of advertising...and I still have commercials? DF is one site where your subscription negates commercials. (doing it right) Hulu on the other hand just gives you some extra content, but it doesn't matter if you pay, you still get commercials no matter what. (Shiro!)
