At least 2 of my theories proved wrong in this episode. The plot twists are too good. IDK what the casting directors…
Yeah, idk what they were thinking. They don't have the same features at all.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I really like his potential that's why as much as Pang's and Punn's and that's why I still want it to progressed further. Hahaha

Like most Boys Love dramas, Filipino BL reflects the contemporary culture of the Filipino LGBTQ+ community. Filipino…
This is the exact BL trope Philippines is trying to move on from. Yes, this genre started as women writing homosexual relationships between men. However, we are demanding for mainstream series that correctly represents gay people. I do believe that anyone can fall for anyone because love is love, and that love knows no gender. However, we need more shows that truly represent gay people as what we are, gay. We are done with this kind of trope where straight men who fall for other men. The goal now in the Philippines is to share gay people's stories and experiences for people to be able to relate to. If we continue this type of trope, it's just emphasizes the fetishization of women towards straight men falling for other men. This story is ours to tell, and the Filipino BL are taking back the narrative.

If you don't enjoy the direction Filipino BL is heading to, it's okay just enjoy the shows you want to enjoy. Just don't be the barrier towards this progress.

This show continues to disappoint. Although many have enjoyed this especially EP 8 (I personally have not seen this EP yet), they have reported a reactor who gave constructive criticism against their show. They gave their opinions on what the show needed to improved on. Yes, the shooting of the scenes are done and nothing can be done anymore, but these reactors were giving valid points since they have a background in production. A show that isn’t willing to accept constructive criticism is a really big turn off.

For Jack and Joe, I think you mean telepathy, more specifically, twin link. I also think Korn's power is more of invulnerability, and insomnia is just a side effect. Remember how he was badly beaten up by Punn, but seems to have recovered quickly from it (just a theory though).

It's one of those shows that you love to hate. I thoroughly enjoyed hating on each character's decisions except maybe Earth's. Hahah

I really enjoyed watching this show . It was comedic and heartbreaking at the same time. I really love how First portrayed Kim and Pan. It was amazing how he’s acted as Pan who is pretended to be Kim. I do wish WayKim could’ve ended together, but that wasn’t what bothered me on the show. What bothered me was the incest undertone the show. Why did they have to make Kim and Khet as brothers. I was especially disturbed when they showed them kissing at the last episode. I mean couldn’t they have shown Pan was the one kissing Khet? Were they just trying to bait us for BL? Other than that, the show was amazing.

I loved the show up until the last 5 minutes of EP9. What a cheap way of ending a show in a tragedy. I guess if it would have happened at EP7 or 8 to show how Xiang HaoTing handled Yu XiGu’s death. It would’ve been better?

A show that handled these issues better than TharnType is The Effect (TW: rape, suicide). Go watch it if you haven’t, but it’s very triggering. I suggest you watch it with someone or skip it altogether.

Title TharnType
TW: rant about how problematic this show is, talks about rape, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, incest

I have very mixed feelings about this show. When I first watched this show, I found it really interesting especially MewGulf’s chemistry and Techno’s comedic scenes. I also enjoyed their character development of MewGulf as the show progresses.

What I really hated about this show was how they gave Lhong a redemption arc like he deserved it?? It makes what he did excusable, which is definitely NOT. Firstly, the show had a special episode for him to show how he was neglected growing up making us feel that we should have remorse for his character. Secondly, he wasn’t even held accountable for his actions. No apology nor punishment at all. Lastly, they showed Thorn forgiving him like it was his decision to forgive him. Actually not really forgive but he said that he will always be a brother to him, which somewhat is supposed to diminish what he has done?

I’m so disappointed on how they handled sensitive issues such as rape, sexual abuse, and sexual harassment. They concluded the series with no characters facing the consequences of their actions. Llong moving away just like that and feeling sorry for himself is not enough of a consequence for the things he had done. It’s like the show somewhat accepts that it’s okay to do these things. Don’t get me started on the lack of consent of Tharn that triggered Type’s past sexual abuse and how Tum and Tar are sibling/step brothers.

I still very much like MewGulf off-screen, and I will probably watch ss2. However, let’s look at the facts on how this show handled certain sensitive issues. Go enjoy the show if you still do, but don’t just blindly watch a show without being critical about it.

I actually felt bad for him. He's been through a lot since he was a child and that speaks of volumes as to why…
Yes pity him all you want, but let me tell you that he should be held accountable for what he did. I really hate how Tong somewhat forgave him for what he did. His dark past should never justify for the crimes he had done. The show should have shown him at least taking responsibility for his actions or be punished.
