Yeesh, some people are being too harsh on this drama and keep comparing it to the Japanese movie. Yes, this adaption…
I didnt watch the Japanese movie and I'm currently reading the manga. Honestly, I like how they change some of the thing in this drama (the lie- to enable the girl delete the song, the second meeting scene - there's too much kissing in manga, Joy's singing of his song and etc.). I find some of the reasoning in manga, dense and irrational sometimes. But I prefer some of the characterization in manga..Both manga, japanese movie and the korean drama has its good point/s. Might as well enjoy the show and judge it independently.
waahhh.. Lee Seo Won will be the bass player..Is he Shinya in Manga?? Hope the characterization of him will be the same as Manga. But I doubt it because they changed the characterization of almost all role in this drama. And both he and Lee Hyun Woo look young compared to manga or even japanese movie. But still, I want to see them on screen :)
I believe Japanese drama have great Love/Romance stories, since 1990s to Present. There are a lot of Japanese…
Thank you for suggesting.. I'm not a huge fan of Jdrama because I dont know where to start with and most Jdrama Id watch is so sad and heartwrenching. . I will try your suggested dramas.
Friend: What this drama is about?
Me: About first love of a weightlifter?!
Friend: That's all?
Me: Nah Just watch it and be in love with this drama.
Honestly it's hard to explain the plot of this drama and make it sound appealing to others. But this is really a great drama. It's simplicity in its finest. I love how simple the story is, which give more shine on characterization of each role. Contrary to others, which have great plot but failed to give justification on each role's behavior.
I also dropped Oh My Venus.
I didnt bother to watch Pinocchio and Its Okay Its Love, because I just dont feel to watch it. LOL.
However, among all you mentioned, I really enjoyed Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. It introduced me to "L". I neither like or hate the main lead, Sung Joon, and also the main OTP here. But I I really like the drama plot especially the success and fall of a band and also friendship. And I really love the song "Jaywalking" here.
Please someone tell me. Seong II (the tax collector) and the Seong II (in jail at the last episode) are the same???
No.. the one in jail is Woong Cheol, one of the lead in Bad Guys drama which was played by the same actor. The last scene is somehow a mix of the two drama (38 task force and Bad Guys) which is both from OCN. If you have time, try to watch Bad Guys also, it's really good
Can I just say i've been watching kdramas for nearly 4 years now and this drama has the best kiss scenes…
Seo In Guk will not be called "Master of Kissing" for nothing. He sure knows how to have a good kissing scene.
The water fountain kiss is still the best for me in this show, it was so innocent.
I'm really excited with this. I think I will not miss Hwarang that much since I will see Park Hyung Sik again in this show. And the funny thing is, Pa Oh is also here but he was the female lead's father instead. I think they can never be separated. LOL
And Ji Soo and Park Bo Young is also in. Waaaahhhh..
Already setting my expectation high, but I think they can live up my expectations.
And it ends.
And I still don't get why everyone hates this drama.
There so many negative comments.
It's not the best but not the worst also (in my opinion).
"Dont hate my brother""- HanSung
WAAAAAAAHHHHH I really cant hold my tears on that line..
HanSung and DanSe scene was really heartbreaking... Why they cant just be happy?? Why cant they just love each other as brother?? Why?? Why?? (Totally carried away!!)

When I first saw the title, Louie came first on my mind, even Taek was the thumbnail of the article.

Everything he does is so charming except the way he walks..
