SOKP has a pretty good script you can total check it out. There’s 3 love interest similar to LLTG which I’m sure you’ve heard about already, also ML has traumatic pass like LBY in LLTG so if you like LLTG you’ll probably like SOKP but some think the ML is a big red flag lol.

sorry I didn't mean to offend you, I was just discussing with you. I love the ML too. Both leads are loveable, us discussing the character just shows how great the drama is right because when things are more complex the perspective are different. From her saying as long as she can get married its enough and her taking so long to trust herself to LBY shows she doesn't trust LBY, she never was playing victim, the whole thing at the cliff was a mess and I blame it on the guy that bought the solider to kill LBY (can we agree on that at least haha?). Niaoniao is a very complicate character and its understandable some may not like or understand. She is reckless because that was the only way she learned to survive. Her recklessness stems from survival instincts ingrained in her by a tumultuous past. She was left at home where everyone wished the worst for her, she could only rely solely on herself, since she was born she was left behind to her being left behind (this is key) is a very big thing its her trauma.
After her mom came back she realized the little bite of hopes she had were gone, no one cared to know who the real her was, everyone had someone they wanted her to be, so she rather depend on herself, those that don't have someone to rely on are force to be independent to be strong. Niaoniao's philosophy, as she articulated it, was "why not treat yourself better and keep your expectations for others lower." (not the exact word but something along that). While her character is multi-faceted, she is undeniably a good-hearted individual who exerts her best effort in everything she does. Intelligent, curious, and pure-hearted, she navigates life with sincerity. She knows/ does what she wants, she won't follow other's expectation and is brave, she isn't scared to express her likes and dislikes (the exact reason LBY was attracted to her) she was different from all the other girls.
No one was entirely wrong, both side had there respective problems but LBY decision was selfish. He promised her and made a whole deal about telling each other everything but then he breaks his own promise, he didn't tell the truth to niaoniao, they bite each others arm as a mark symbolizing eternity was compromised and what does he do? I love LBY too but I love Niaoniao too. He dragged her into this game of love, he made her trust him he begged her to put all her trust into her but he chooses to not say anything after shes asked multiple time, after she put her and her family in danger to come saver him, after he got saved he still said he didn't regret it despite the emperor (who btw everyone knew loved him like his own son) even said if he had said something he wouldn't have to had to put his life in danger. She didn't put her nose everywhere. He left her too, just like her mom, its like someone knows your trauma your past your weakness but still choose to do the same thing to you.
Contrary to perceptions of meddling, Niaoniao's intentions were pure, especially in her relationship with the empress. The empress was the only one who truly saw and cared about her, what she wanted/liked. All Niaoniao wanted to do was to reciprocate that kindness by assisting and safeguarding what mattered to the empress, notably her son (in the tiger tally case her son). The son is the one that is not too smart. Yes she was young and made risky decision because thats the only thing she could do, she will not accept fate and wait for bad things to happen to her, she addresses her challenges headon. Originally in the novel the original niaoniao died when she was sent to the countryside and a girl that grew up with similar family trama (left alone) teleported into her body (thus explaining why niaoniao knew how to make/ invent so many thing + the modern idea of womens should be independent). There is still so much I can say about Niaoniao. I'm unsure why you hate her lol theres many other FL far worst, but maybe you prefer FL that are damsel in distress that just sit around quietly and thats fine too everyone has their preference. ML saving the FL is not a rare plot. This drama has many details that you need to really watch careful to understand.

Yes I agree, I hate how he decided to sacrifice without asking if they really wanted it (sometimes its selfish to make/ do something for someone else without asking if they wanted it, imagine he died the first time he did all that, she would hate herself forever) but he learned in the end right. At the end he promise her to look for another way (still annoyed me how he hide his condition though) but I guess sometimes thing still don't go your way right because he still end up sacrificing.
