So basically recent episodes are more angsty. Well the thing is even gu wei used to be more expressiveabout his feelings to lzx before this sml 's arrival now he seems to be somewhat insecure. In my honest opinion this is so relatable given to their age gap and the whole different career paths. I like the way they showed in the drama like two parallels. When lzx stayed at gw's home lzx randomly noticed the research paper (i don't know if it is a research paper but whatever the paper gw was completing that night) there was gao xi and gu wei as author's names. The change in lzx 's
facial expressions show how it bothers her about the fact she can't be some help to gw but gao xi can do it. The contrast is so cleverly highlighted there and viewers can clearly get that lzx is beginning to have some doubts about the differences between him and her and if there is a relationship how will it work despite of the gaps.same goes for gu wei when the sml appears and he sees lzx being happy around him( not in a romantic way but gw doesn't know that) and the gift he bought for lzx and the whole cannon D thingy he really started to doubt about if he really suits her better than a person who is in the same field as lzx . He concluded it in his heart that he is just being ahead of himself by loving lzx. When you see this plot as a third party without being bias this is so relatable and realistic cz in no way real life flows in pink bubbles without twist and turns given the fact the two mc belong to two different worlds.

I'm here again while waiting for the next episode to air. Seems like i can't wait to binge watch it . I'm not much used to watch ongoing dramas. But i can't wait two more weeks.
Btw anyone find here that their humor is not forced like they don't even need those lame meaningless jokes to crack me up. I can see it comes through their traits( like lzx is oblivious, gu wei's occupational obsession and he always relates his life experience with a medical condition - awkward comforts he gives to lzx- His old fashion ways of interacting). I love these small details which i have found when my interest for this drama is still rising.

So i 'll say you now after watching the latest episode i'm quite hooked i think i'll enjoy the drama even she seems like walking red flag to me( definietly i'll just skip her parts lol) since this kind of drama is rare to find in cdramas , it is also very rare to find myself so engaged in a cdrama after a long time(i'm pleasantly suprised and happy about it) . Ofc i just want guwei to cut it clean with her when he realize she is going to ruin their fun. I do know that novel is also had a conflict between ML and FL bcz of her. But she is not worthwhile to drop the drama just because i'm annoyed with her i love this drama so far.

Exactly this is definitely a good drama wheremain leads are supportive to each other and grow together. Lmao those CEO type and arranged marriage dramas have become a no no to me after watching my very first cdramas back then . God knows how much i appreciated gu wei for not being the typical cold and wooden faced ML who is almost indifferent to everyone none other than his love interest. I like he is not only nice towards FL but others as well (not gao xi ! And that is reasonable lol)

As for my honest opinion when i first read this novel i thought it is a bit too bland to adapt into a drama. But when i was reading further i was hooked into the novel because it is such a warm and fluff romance with a healing storyline. Drama adaptation has make some changes into their 1st meeting i think it is pretty okay because the non-novel fans will find it really unimpressive if it goes according to the novel. I find the 2nd lead couple bit too dramatic about their dating. (Like the girl is playing hard to get or whatsover and boy being a cheater - it is not for my liking) But i'm fully satisfied with main lead couple . After their 1st meeting i didn't find any cdrama cliches ofc .(if they had a past history or childhood crush thingy i would have dropped it right there) that is definitely a plus point and the chemistry beyween them is definitely to my liking. They both are struggling in their respective fields and being each others alley is another new aspect i found here. The only thing that bothers me is that annoying second fl who roaches behind the ML and ML's family doting over her. I'll be totally relieved if they don't drag her character until the already existing understanding and trust between ML and FL is damaged. The Ost and the picturesque sceneries are a bonus for the drama. BGM is totally maching with their alternative emotions so well which is why i'm so amazed since all the cdramas i watched didn't have that much of aesthetically pleasing sound tracks. lzx actually feels so dictating but i can relate to him because in asian households there are many situations parents involve in almost every choice of children be it education love life or marriage even careers. Above all the realistic aspect is what i appreciate in this drama most because it doesn't sugar coat any real life struggles here. It is glad i found myself hooked after 3 episodes but only problem is the waiting is the thing i'm not good at all. Anyway i love the main leads's gradual development of feelings cz slow burn romance is really my thing.
