This drama was a easy watched for me. Light and funny. Strong FL . Loved the ML and his friends. The story was not all that strong but sometimes I need to watch a light and funny drama without all the emotional trips. This drama also have lots of kissing scenes ,which I have never ever seen in a Chinese drama! I really felt that they were a married couple! I will rewatch this one.
Finished watching this a month ago and here is my comment on it. Starting with most dramatic episode .
From the start of watching this I kind of enjoyed FL innocence and her being funny but then it gets old, because she reminds dumb for most of drama. I like to see characters grow and become stronger and mature but FL failed that to me . She always needed help. Next. ..She not only stabbed ML, she magically pull the knife from his back through his chest. And blocked everything out of her mind- ( Phoenix took her to Heaven trained her for over 100 years, gave her his feather for protection, went to the moral realm with her, helped to protect her and repeatedly took care of her) because she only operated from her heart. She then stated she never loved him yet she killed because she loved her father...After watching the whole drama she continued to make bad decisions. She had no clue that the 2nd ML was wicked. At least she got a clue that he doesn't want Phoenix to live but she didn't even know he was tracking her and changing ingredients in the pill. After the Phoenix rejected her she again made another stupid decision to marry the 2nd ML ... Then she found out about how wicked the 2nd ML was, she didn't make any plans to be careful she confronted him crying and throwing a tantrum talking about he doesn't know love. She then continued to stay there! Once again she acted clueless. At least she had the clue to stop the world from being destroyed. She deserve everything she got because of her being too simple minded. At least it ended good. Excellent acting and set designs as well as costumes. I'm now an official fan of the ML his acting was superb. The 2nd couple's kissing scene is better then the ML & FL scenes. I felt their love for each other. The Lead actor's need lessons from Yewa and Susu in regards to being super romantic. ???. They loved each other but I didn't feel their passion.
Just finished watching all 59 Episodes. I was expecting more based on some of the reviews. I love that they solved different issues throughout this drama. ML was always suffering - limited victory for him without major suffering and throwing up blood all the time . I think he set a record for that! I was disappointed with the romantic side. I get that they loved each other but passion was lacking . The couple in Eternal Love brought that passionate side to their drama thanks to Mark Chao . If you watched Ashes of Love then you will see a lot similarities in this drama. The great thing about this Drama the FL was strong and wasn't dumb like the FL in Ashes of Love. Ending was great .Great acting especially the ML. Great cast , beautiful set designs Not a rewatched for me. My top favorite Drama is still Eternal love. I have a love hate thing for Ashes of love . I hate that the FL was so dumb because I love strong FL, but I also rewatched some parts of Ashes of Love because of the ML acting throughout.
So I'm watching episode 44 Now and I feel like the ML is like a martyr. I am happy that this time he fought back. Gosh I was getting unhappy with how mush time I have to watched him suffer and throw up blood. I got so irritated with it so I went to find out how many time they are going to make the ML get wounded and spit blood and Netizen kept tabs that up to 42 times in the 44 episodes!! I kept watching this drama because of the storyline. I loved the ML Father and the blond FL's pet. But I I don't think this would be a rewatched for me.
I agree. I thought he should have played her dad. Or they should have gotten a older FL.
I watched 2 Episodes already and it's on hold at the moment. I guess I have to get more acquainted with the ML after watching Marc Chao... on Eternal love.
Just stared watching this and this drama is going more like Ashes of Love rather than Eternal love. I'm at Episode 18....One of the reasons I loved Eternal love is that they both fall in love at the same time and the first kiss was not scary and childish for the FL. This drama and Ashes of love, the girl have a clue about love.
