One is a movie & one is a drama, and the genres are very different, but both have a lead character utilizing a communication device (walkie talkie & CB radio) to have conversations with someone in the past.
Even though one is a movie & the other a drama plus their genres are nothing alike, they both feature a very warm-hearted FL that is perceived as stupid.
Both are movies. Although these movies are nothing alike the dog (a retriever) in each movie provides emotional support to the lead character in their time of need (The loss of a parent & the loss of one's sight).
Both are movies & have a golden retriever as a member of the cast. Adoring has a few other animal species cast members, but all will melt an animal lover's heart.
