Even though there were a lot of scenes I fast forwarded through (I got the gist of it but they just kept talking and talking) I still really really liked this. The acting wasn’t 100 % but it didn’t distract me too much. Over all very enjoyable.
I’m on episode six and it’s really difficult to relate to it since most of the issues in the story are non-issues in my country. For example: A female middle-aged divorced news announcer? We have plenty of middle-aged female announcers and most people have no idea if they are married or have kids. It has zero relevance to their job. So I’m having difficulties immersing myself in the plot.
This had so much potential and I really liked a lot of it. However, the romance was really unnecessary in my opinion and subtracted so much from it. They really shouldn’t have included it. And the ending! It should have wrapped up better than it did in some aspects. So in the end, the bad parts took it from a really good to just mediocre show. I’m quite disappointed actually.
There were a few things I liked but overall I regret watching it. This is one of my lowest rated show ever. So many awful characters and so many bad plot decisions. Mark and Kit I really liked but it didn’t feel like they were the main characters, especially later on in the show. I also felt really bad for Phai. In conclusion I would not recommend watching this show.
