Can anybody tell me why this drama got so popular? I kept holding off watching this since this was the only really…
I completely agree with you. I kept putting this drama on hold, then finally decide to watch it since it had over 23 million viewers, thought that was worth watching. I'm on Epi 5 and I cannot for the life of me get into it! I keep falling asleep, then fast forwarding through and so far nothing can hold my attention. Does it get better, sigh.
Endings like these really are disappointing! Sigh... If I had better imagination skills, maybe it wouldn't have been so upsetting. Unfortunately I'm the type of person who needs a definite (yes/no) ending to feel satisfied, not (maybe/what if) I'm left with. This was open interpretation and I'm lost now. 9.5 down to 7 for me.
I honestly skimmed through a lot, especially episode 12-18. There were plenty of comedy and team spirit, a bit of romance between MLs would have been a nicer touch. It was missing something here.
How did I miss this drama until now! This is definitely on my top 5 list. Binged 16 episodes in 24 hours, couldn't even sleep without waking up thinking about it. I loved the chemistry and relationships between each character. It was Absolutely perfect in my eyes!
I gave it a 7. I wanted more action and confirmation between the ML. Yes I felt their chemistry but it wasn't enough to call it "love", it was more confusing at times... are they or aren't they? That is my question. I had a sneak peek of the novel and the novel was a definite YES, they were in love, without a doubt. I think they lost their virginity to each other as I remembered, in hardcore details.
I JUST finished watching Go Go Squid and was SO disappointed. I saw the trailer for this and I'm quite adamant to start this drama. It looks too similar to GGS. Anyone up to enlighten me and compare the two dramas?
I have to say the FL in this drama was too much for me. She literally took the terms "love at first sight" to a new level. She stalked him, followed him shamelessly like a lost puppy, took a lot of crap attitude from ML without a flinch and still clung on like glue. Most of the parts with the main leads I just rolled my eyes and forwarded through, I had no interest in the main leads. I felt sorry for her every time she stood there looking so clueless. Her character is no role model for the younger generation of young women. With that said, I love the rest of the drama. Friendships lost and rebuilt, bonds between both teams were unbreakable, loved the team players,
SYD was really good in this drama, he was funny and I liked his character best in this. The better ending for me would have been SYD and MYR together at last, not because of JH's weight or age but I felt the stronger chemistry between YD and YR.
Such a cliche plot here which has been overdone again so this drama is the same every remake. I love NiNi and only watching this because of her. The male lead is by far handsome or good looking but he fits the role perfectly. I just seriously can't get into this drama which is really sad.
I'm on episode 5-6 (Netflix) and ready to drop this drama. Most likely will skim through because I like the main leads here. This drama lacks so much potential and such a waste of great actors. It's quite boring.
I've heard so many positive reviews on this drama that I decided to watch this. I've tried to put this on hold, then watch again after a few days, sometimes weeks. Nope finally dropped after 4 full episodes and skimmed through some more. This drama was stretched too long. I didn't feel chemistry between ML and FL. Yes there were cute moments but nothing to catch my breathe.
I did not have problem with the "chase" as u said because it was a hard decison - to leave. This drama isnt sugarcoating…
The story line became very tiresome, esp same plot and scenario in almost every episode. I understand the writer wanted to make this drama viewers could relate to in a more emotional way. I rolled my eyes a lot throughout this drama, lol. I don't know much about SK culture, if this is what family life is actually like in SK or if it's fictional. KKS was cheated on and LJI left him for another man, while JI was still playing with his emotions on the sideline. For me as a viewer, the writer blew every situation into a huge mess. Marriage is a MUST, divorce isn't possible and shamed on, single parenthood is looked down upon, divorce and with child is an insult to the family, dating a man who already has a child and the whole family breaks down and cries bloody hell. Maybe because I was raised as 21st century ABC and this is what every family deals with, these are the norms of all Americans, lmao. Nonetheless I watched and enjoyed this drama with my Chinese mindset in order.
This is one of those dramas you want to drop but also want to watch it to the end. Over half of this drama was cat chase mouse, cat playing with mouse, mouse runs away, then starts over again. The plot grew very old quickly. The replay of the same song over and over again was repetitive. The upside of this drama was the relationships between sisters, mothers and friends.
