Episode 8 is, complete wrecked.

Just pick your favorite couple and move on, their are a bunch of dramas that the second leads couple shine more than the main one and that is okay, don't see why people need to compare of fight about it.

She is judgy lol, she says " they have no sense of romance, they are anti TLB and hate Dilraba because they like Zhao lusi more " hahaha she's assuming that anyone that is watching The long ballad and support more haoyan are Dilraba haters and are also wanting to make the rating of the show go lower just by making the single assumption that some people like haoyan more?

Everybody can have their own favorite drama couple without causing such big drama and crazy assumptions.

Is it confirmed that he will be the male lead? I was hoping for zhang bin bin

Watching rn and this is so much better than the Korean version. Jasper is a more soft character and he is shy and not rude with the fm. I love the actress she has improved so much. Definetly going to end this drama from start to finish

Watching this in hopes that is better than the Korean version which I couldn't even finish because the guy was too toxic and the actor wasn't of my liking. ☺️ Hope this version is better

Yesss I thought I was the only one. I feel like mimi has alot of unnecessary screen time I would've rather see other characters developing than the story focused on her most of the time.

Probably changge, because she is sweet and is strong as well. While leyan is also strong she is a different kind more passive but still someone that is smart. But changge is more aggressive and passionate and wants more freedom so I resonate more with her.

Just because someone enjoys haoyan couple doesn't mean all of this, I liked haoyan more than the main couple because I like the bunny and wolf concept and the way it was done was perfect. It was a cliche well done which is hard to find. I think Dilraba is a fantastic actress nobody would be able to act or show the essence of what Changge is more than her. But the romance between the main leads is very very small. They have more issues in their life's than to focus on their romance so their scenes are more short and their love is shown more in action scenes like protection rather than skinship. Which haoyan differs, leyan doesn't have troubles like changge so leyan is more free to walk around and have romantic scenes with haodu while changge is trying to survive.I don't think it bad to like one couple due to romance, we all have different motives to watch the long ballad. Some do it for the actions and other for romance. I enjoy both. I loved changge but I loved haoyan couple more. Your assumption of why people like haoyan is ver judgy.

Changge or Leyan both personalities resonate with me

I decided to watch the end of this series today and I will agree the ending was pretty meh. Everything was so rushed that you don't see the ending of each character which I feel would've been better. Why did the director cut leyan y Hao du pregnancy idk that would've added a good closure instead of hao du father death. The fire scene is just a no for me. Even though some scenes are enjoyed with drawings I don't like the combination of the drawing and the actors inside of it. Looks badly acted.

Call be selfish but I wished to have Shiba and xu feng scenes more clearly :( I enjoyed this pair so much and I would actually love a drama concept similar to those two. A strong girl that was loyal to her shifu and after that she couldn't find her own freedom due to the way she was raised. 10/10 would watch a drama like that.


I cried for mimis death but actually for some reason I'm glad she died. Her character even though very loyal to changge she was starting to annoy me alot. So I did cry for her character death but I don't feel sorry for it. Don't ask me why.


This last episode would've been better if it was just an episode to show each characters ending since they made so many side stories. From changge shifu, sheer, leyan, li shimin, Shiba and xufeng, yuan the baby girl. So many lose ends that wouldve been nice to see their endings instead of just mentioning them :(

I do agree in some things. Even though a plot can carry on without romance it is very needed at times specially when you need to grasp on something sweet when everything is a mess. I think adding some romance would've been better. Blurring or hiding kissing scenes is not from my liking if the plot wasn't so good and the side characters have partners and growth I might consider dropping because that's what happened to me when watching silver princess that had blurred or cut kiss scenes.

The only thing I can agree with is the weird bird scene, so weird hahahaha could've found many ways to hide a kiss but font add some weird ass birds

It's day 10000 and till this day I still simp over Sher, Asun is hot I know but Sher is so attractive. I simp him, wish he had a partner in the drama. He is so sweet and lost, he only wanted his father approval and the love of his brother . Ugh wish the actor has more dramas and has a main role.

I enjoy this drama alot, I think so far this is the one that gives alot of detail on the autopsy and also gets cute reenactments when the leads try to describe it alot. I love the comedic relief it has and I think the FL is very smart in what she likes but in terms of love she is naive because she was mostly studying which is very adorable. I decided to watch this drama to do a cdrama review on YouTube and couldn't be happier

Even though the main couple is cute and very unproblematic I can't help but feel more intrigued in the second couple and the worst part is they are the worst clique. But I enjoy the second female lead alot her character is very strong and confused in life.

Actually today I had the same thought while watching the drama. I think she portrays the same character in every drama, she should try different themes. Feels like even hairstyles and outfits are all similar.
