If the ML is LBY then yes I would forgive him. I don't think it would take me 5 years but I would be mad at him. The difference is that LBY regrets his choice and he is willing to accept it and follows peoples advice in terms of fighting for SS and give her space that she needs. He asks for forgiveness as well so he knows his wrong doings.
Honestly this drama gave alot of sweet moments chapter after chapter and I think it's never enough 😂 of course I would've wanted a wedding I think that would be the cherry on the top with the drama. I didn't read the book so I didn't except scenes that I knew where missing. I do want to read the book though, I wish Chinese books actually translated to English and on hardbook or soft cover and I would 100% buy them. I can't even imagine how beautiful the cover would be. But at the same time I'm thankful for not reading it before or during the show since I've seen many people have expectations of some scenes.

I kind of understand SS, she asked LBY many times to tell her if he is lying, told him many times to not lie to her, had many scenes when she said she will be his if he is honest, has asked LBY if he is okay and he still doesn't tell her. He had his chances and I think SS wants LBY to tell her willingly, else she would've confronted him once the almond idea came through to her. She feels betrayed and she is giving LBY chances to come clean.
I don't care what anybody says but Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi bts scenes gives me such a big ship. I know we are not suppose to ship them I DO NOT. But Wu leo gives this shy guy aura and Lusi for the first time (maybe just me) her guard down a bit. The bts were she tries to impress Wu Lei, this recent one where she pokes one of her cheeks and try to act cute 😩 the one were Wu Lei is holding Lusi hands and he is wearing a robe with no shirt?! I dont think they are dating but if the news came out I would 100%ship. At most what I can hope is them to be in another drama together the way Bai Lu could with her recent Co start. One modern drama and now a Xian Xian drama. Fingers crossed 🤞
