It's a good watch & would love to see season 2, tho it's nowhere near as great as most people praise it to be. I just found the pacing quite rushed & fight scenes could be a lot better imo. To me, it just feels like a big long introduction arc for Jung soo in. However, still intrigued to see how s2 will play out.
God I love this drama so much. I haven't watched anime so won't compare to it, nonetheless I really think they totally nailed it. Fuka koshiba as minare is one of my all time fav chr casting & she totally nailed it that I believe nobody could pull off what she did (didn't think she has it in hers). Such a fun & awesome watch, 10/10 for me.
The first ep just sold me completely. This one not only has strong cast but also has a solid & relatable storyline to boost it. I'm already in love with the chrs. Looking forward to next eps; I have a feeling this'll join my personal favourites crew unless they mess it up.
Yeah our fun & messy duo is coming back!! Tbh I enjoy this one more than the first. Cool fight scenes and incredible chemistry between two leads as usual, the comedy & humour part also works well for me too. A short, nice & fun watch; wouldn't mind another sequel personally. 8/10.
As a big fan of the anime, I can easily say this LA version is really on par with the anime itself.I won't compare it with manga since I haven't read it. All the cast did a good job; especially ririsa chan who plays 'naru' character, she really nailed her role completely, she brought the chr into real life with her performance. Totally worth watching even if you've already read/watched manga/anime, imo.
If you're planning to watch this, do yourself a favour & just watch the invisible guest 2015 instead. This one is bad remake & the original one is miles far better in all aspects.
I don't know how others feel, but it's traumatic for me to watch the last episode. It really ruins all the happy…
I get you. Tho it doesn't really matter to me whether the ending is happy or sad as long as it's done right. It's just that I feel like the whole final ep destroyed everything they had built up in earlier eps with random nonsense things; it's terrible.
Personally the final ep ruined it all for me. I know unexpected things could happen in real life too, but it's just too much nonsense & random bullshit to care about. I'm giving this 7.5/10 only because of the first 9 eps which're absolutely amazing that I couldn't stop watching it.
It's quite an experience. I just went in blind without reading too much abt this & it paid off. This drama is such an addictive & intense ride from beginning to end; well the last 2 eps were kind of dull & predictable compared to earlier eps but that's totally understandable. Sakurai sho really did an amazing job of portraying such a memorable chr. Highly recommended; just one thing ' don't read or be spoiled too much before watching this, it'll ruin the fun'. Solid 9/10 for me.
This is a mess. The games're not even that interesting except from jack of heart game. I mean, for example, king of spade game is basically just brutal plain killing, not worth calling it a game. Honestly I'm so disappointed with this season. The ending is too abrupt & messy to care abt. Overall MEH!
Personally this is suzu's best performance for me as far as I've seen her works; she just nailed her role as 'sarasa' completely. Tori is just amazing as usual, and ryusei's acting is a pleasant surprise here (he's good but still have rooms to grow). I just wish the film to be longer so that it can explore the chrs more deeply, especially fumi. Solid 9/10 for me.
Honestly I don't understand the hype & popularity with this one. I'm glad jdramas are starting to be get noticed by international audience these days. However, there're a lot of jdramas that're better & deserved to be praised than this one. The story is full of cliches which've been already done numerous times & there's nothing new/special to talk about. The young actors are good tho; they really got chemistry between them unlike adult version of satoh & mitsushima which I find their chemistry bland & almost non- existent. Too much episodes for so little story to be told. 7/10 at most for me.
Good acting ruined by terrible plot, lack of direction & poor chr writing. The story, chrs & their relationships could have been explored deeper. Just having some violence, nudity & sex scenes doesn't automatically make a good dark drama. Despite of having so much potential & direction it can go to, the show wanders around aimlessly at the loss of purpose ended up being pretentious & forgettable. My patience gradually ran out as the show progresses in the most stupid & vague way with an odd pacing & filled with very questionable choices most chrs made.
At this point I'm pretty sure sung hoon is the real killer. Remember, in the first murder, the corpse is being placed neatly in that garbage dump even tho it's a hassle and unnecessary? That's because the killer is a perfectionist. In second murder, sung hoon has hey jin's ph no. since he already called her to check beforehand. So the possibility of him giving another call to her to get location or make up a plan to kill her is really really higher than others. There are still chances that one of the jurors is the killer since we still don't know their background fully yet. But I think that chance is pretty low but them being red herring or victim in next eps is pretty high.
