I never said WAATH wouldn’t be popular,you are missing my point. I’m talking about scale of popularity. Slow burn, realistic dramas can be critically strong, but they usually don’t reach the same mass audience as high quality fantasy or visually driven shows. You can see that with My liberation notes and My mister both are excellent shows but they did not match the popularity of Queen of tears or Moon lovers. Even mdl shows that PC has significantly higher watcher interest than WAATH. So from a numbers standpoint, PC just has a bigger audience.More numbers usually means more profit, that is what i wanted to convey.

U see we're looking at different things.U r focusing on critics and awards while I'm talking about mass appeal.PC is dreamlike and a wider audience tend to prefer fantasy compared to real life.Now coming to IU,obviuosly cast plays a major role in the success of a show, the netflix show also benefits because of its cast of Go youn joung,oh jung se and others.It The netflix one might be critically more good but streaming platforms go for numbers,not awards and I think PC would be more successful on that front.That is the comparison of "stronger drama" I wanted to convey about PC and netflix show.
