Tenshi no koi aka my rainy days is a movie about a spoiled 17 year old high schooler who does part time prostitution, manipulative and cunning (nazomi Sasaki) whose only care in the world is money and how to use people to get money, the kind of brat you'd hate, after her encounter with the antisocial 35 year old sensei. She starts to change and eventually he opens up too.
The story is about teacher/student relationship and this is one of the few you'll see that isn't cringy.
The mature 17 year old changes around her crush and she turns to a normal 17 year old kid which shows who she truly is.
The movie was a beautiful touching romance. Downside is there were several stories left untold, which made me feel like the 2 hour movie didn't cover everything.

The movie leaves you like you were a punching bag and mike Tyson was laying in on you, the movie covers a lot of things in Korean poor hoods, staring yang ik Jun who wrote, directed and stared as the lead role, we all know him as the psycho brother from its okay that's love.
The movie is about a debt collector who meets a high school kid and an unusual friendship starts, and their lives begin to change.
At the starting of the movie you'll feel anger and disgusted by our male lead but as the story beautifully unfolds you'll be feeling sympathy, worry and even care for the ruthless thug who has suffered more than anyone can handle.
A masterpiece of a moral tale of the aftermath of domestic violence and child abuse told in a perfect manner in the film that leaves you "breathless"

Great drama/life movie about a man Serving a life sentence in jail but gets the chance to help out a cop (who is a childhood friend too) by giving a liver transplant to the cops daughter who he later finds out that she is his own daughter and the cop was raising her. The story wasn't that great but the father/daughter moments were amazing and the acting of the 2 male leads is perfect, and it made the movie a lot more enjoyable, shin hyun joon delivered perfectly as a heartless thug that transformed into a great dad after realizing his own daughter is in danger.

May 18 is a movie about the massacre that happened in gwangju in 1980 in Korea.
The movie starts off with min woo (Kim sang kyung from what's happened to my family) being a laid back easy going taxi driver and his younger brother Jin woo (lee joon gi from the king and the clown) who is a law student, both leading a happy life (I loved their doensang/hyung moments). The happy moments don't last long since this movie is based on the incidents of the massacre lead by the army against student protesters in 1980'.
Cons of the movie is that most of the characters were one dimensional, that is all soldiers were evil, and all town people were angels, and that didn't add more to the thrill, of course the movie dealt greatly with the war/massacre scenes, I guess 2007 was a year of real money in Korean movies, this movie felt so real.
Since all Koreans are forced to join the army to serve for a year or alittle more, everyone knows how to handle a gun, so when the weapons became part of the civilians lives and if they get hold of those weapons, a tragedy between the military sent by the foul government and civilians is bound to happen.
Great movie, and there is romance in it!!
Highly recommended for drama/war genre lovers.

Sad movie is a ..... sad movie.
I think they ran out of ideas for names, but who cares?! It's melo tragic romance and it's done really well, uncovers 4 stories each with its own uniqueness and amazingness.
I liked min ah's story and the mom/son story.
Well one thing is for sure, even though this movie is lacking, you won't get bored because it has 4 stories to tell and they are connected in tiny bits.

But I'm extremely happy because this drama deserves it =)
