About that deeply controversial scene what shocked me the most was Xing Si's reaction. Those two slaps hurt like hell, you can feel the kid's pain throughout the entire show. He is even pushing his luck even further asking for their parents consent, like he still can't believe Xing Si is willing to be with him. Jia Wei is doing a terrific job here, his feelings are so subtle, so real. Jun Peng is working, Wico is feeling it.
