And the sweetest male lead in historical genre. (next is Ye Hua, ofc!) I hope they won’t make a season 3. I personally think, the ending of this season is good enough to end the story. But, well, i heard they are already planning the next season, still unsure if the main character of s1 and s2 will still be on the cast.
I overall love this. Enjoyable, i am gushing over the cheesiness. And yep, the kisses. Not just lip-locking like most of Historical dramas. Good kisses. Hahahahaha
I admit i don’t really like the ML. He doesn’t have any sex appeal to me. But gahh, this drama is oozing with a great chemistry among the main lead. I could compare it to the chemistry on TMOPB.
Although, the romance part is really satisfying, the other part of the drama lacks. Especially, the flow of the story. The story just “tells” the story. I mean, no actual scenes how it ended up like that. They just talked about it in the end. And blaaah. Tadaah, so if you got a wide imagination, good for you. You need to just visualize it on your own Lol.
Okay, heading to Season 2. Have my hopes high for this!
I am a true blooded sucker of Romantic historical dramas especially Cdramas. And the main root of my addiction? TEN MILES OF PEACH BLOSSOM.
Since then, i always find myself digging a lot of Cdramas with amazing romance. And PRINCESS AGENTS also got my heart. Bad ass FL with an equally Bad ass ML, with Amazing Cinematography and Oustanding Story line!
What about Yoon Eun Hye? I miss that girl. She’s a really great actress, hoping she will make her way back. She’s been in a hiatus for almost five years. Her last big break was on 2013.
Well, i have seen all the version. It may not be my top version, but the DAO MING SI here is my most favorite DMS (or lead actor) among all the remakes. He’s breathtakingly handsome and he portrayed DMS’s character so well. A Badass yet a gentle one.
Honestly, that’s the main reason why i keep on watching it. The rest was just ordinary for me.
A fantastic version of Meteor Garden nevertheless.
Don’t argue with me. I have seen all the version of this in every country. Read the Manga and watched the anime. Imma true blooded die hard fan of MG/HYD/BOF since childhood.
So when i tell you this one is not lacking among the rest, believe me.
