Well, I really liked it. Others moaned about their kissing, but that's just how Chimmon kisses. I think people seem to forget that not everyone kisses the same, and forget that the love behind the kiss is present, and that's okay.
Ah, you finished it already? I binged watched it in a few days originally, I think. Lol. I'm watching BigMouth, with the same ML, in between a few other things. Not romantic for the most part, but he's still really good in it. I also really liked the style of W, and the special effects; and all round I really enjoyed it - laughed and cried equally as much.
for the ending I actually thought because they don't want anyone to know Xiao Wudi's reality, so they just gave…
Ah, I done a deep dive into Chinese censorship. Lol. But, nope, that's just how it was written, for whatever bizarre reason the author(s) chose to.
I did discover that mostly horror involving magick is banned, along with too much blood and gore, child birth, abortion, gay sexual acts (including kissing) - which I knew about anyway, time travel, anything that China can view as politically bad (even if it's not, will get flagged as racist), showing Taiwan (and a few other places) as separate countries and not under Chinese rule, supporting other countries during war (like one of BTS did with South Korea - so they're all banned in China), and even Winnie the Pooh, along with any other talking animals, or even dystopian themes after over throwing a government (like Mad Max).
Yeah...I wouldn't have liked the childhood friend to be her real husband. I mean, she killed him off in her book, by fire no less! I wouldn't want to be married to her. Lol.

Well, you did add a question at the end of the previous comment, so I was just explaining what the ending really was.
After I watched it I went and ranted to my son about the ending myself. I even said to him, if he'd come down and said even just something to get m attention, and I'd looked away from my tablet to tell him to wait a second, I would have totally missed the reveal about the writer and her husband, and been none the wiser at all.
I understand what hey we're trying to do... Like those movies that leave you surprised and a little awed, because there's a "it was all just a dream" reveal at the end. But, the way they done it, there was no obvious distinction between the fictional and the reality, besides that like bit she said. While I was processing the revelation it just suddenly ended. It wasn't impactful or meaningful. It was just...why... And like you said, the no connection thing with the real writer and her husband. It was just odd. I'd rather have just seen the end of the "book", instead of her residing it out, or it be the fictional her reading it, like I thought it was to begin with.
I'm still kind of miffed, because she went to look for the book, but it ad sold out, and then they were talking about the Book Signing Event, but then the Book Signing Event that we saw took place was in the real world. Ugh! The whole message the real author conveyed applied to the fictional author as well, so why even change to the real world in at the end. Just annoying! I'm just gonna pretend it was her and Wudi at the end.

No, because he Wudi's name was stated at he wedding ceremony, which means it would have been that in the marriage license booklet. If they had lied about his name, in public, a simple search could be done by anyone to find his registered name was Wudi. Also, if that was he case...what guy would be happy being given the name of his fiancé's first love, out of all the names he could pick to have.
I don't like the ending. I mean, after all that we literally just watched the story he author wrote and was reading aloud at her Book Signing Event. If I hadn't paid attention for a minute, towards the end, or literally sneezed at the right time, I would be blissfully unaware of THAT twist; unfortunately I didn't though, so I'm just going to imagine I didn't hear about that brief revelation, and it actually ended with the two characters I grew attached to, and not just two people, that I don't know from Adam, but happen to look the same.
Maybe if they had shown more of the "real couple" at the end, enough for me to learn a bit about them, so I could like them, then I would feel different. But, they were just suddenly "revealed" who they were, without me even realising until they said a few things, and when it clicked that they weren't actually "my" Mains, well it just abruptly ended. There just wasn't enough of "them" onscreen, for me to care and believe that was an actual real plot twist.
Does that make sense? I mean, it happened so quick, that it doesn't feel real.
(I just finished watching the last episode. Sorry, if the app messes up and doesn't add line breaks for my paragraphs.)
W: World's Apart or Two Worlds Apart or something similar. It's actually got a few different working titles, depending on where its aired.
It's really good, but you can't really compare the two. W is on a totally different level compared to this one, in terms of production and everything else. Thought this one is still good, and a similar initial premise (dude pops out of fictional world into the real world/woman pops into fictional world from the real world), there's romance in both, but that's where the similarities end.
Can someone tell me in what episode Xiao Wudi disappears?
He actually disappeared three times. Like Episode 19, and then either two episodes before or after, and then again in episode 22 I think. The first time was the worse.
I really liked this, but...like why didn't we get to see Tommy say goodbye and leave, and why was there a year plus of hem not communicating with each other? Tommy just got to release one song after all that...and just ugh...like we know they both had phones, so eh no talking!?! Even the odd postcard or letter or just anything!!! Ba Da said he'd cheer for his dream of music, and then poof, Tommy was gone. That time apart just didn't sit right with me, but besides that, I actually really liked it.
Geez, last two episodes really stressed me out, and I was not happy with he direction one but, not at all. Glad that the two ML's I liked ended up together though; didn't think hey would for a hot minute.
I am interested to watch his but there is tag for sexual harassment. can you tell me whether that happens between…
The other Senior follows him to the bathroom, every time he goes, and stares at his penis, and there's a lot of shoulder caressing when he's "correcting" the ML's work. That's sexual harassment.

Others said it wasn't sexual harassment in the workplace, but I'm on episode 4, and there is. One of the Seniors, who likes the main ML, follows him to the bathroom, every time he goes, and stares at his penis for a long while ; and he also caresses his shoulder a lot, when he's "correcting" his work at his computer.
Yes, as ti's is a remake of the first one from 2016. Theres a list above, in the comments, of all of them in order, and then you can further separate the list into the countries that they were made in.
There was no rape (no "rape" tag either), and the victim did not fall in love with the kidnapper.
I watched the version that's on their official YouTube channel, that's coincidentally linked to in a comment below; 1:27:27, which takes into account removed titles and credits in-between each episode, and the episodes alone add up to 1:30:00. Didn't see a mention of two different versions anywhere, as I usually check MDL, so I can watch the uncut version of something, if there is one.
Yes, there was sexual abuse by the kidnapper, but there was no rape. Only the top half of the victims shirt was pulled a third of the way down, and no other removal of clothing by either of them. (Some one in the comments and review said there was rape, but there was not, and there's no "rape" tag either.) Just want to clarify that.
Also, I didn't find it believable the the victim would forgive the kidnapper for sexually abusing him, let alone inviting him around to eat with friends (after his jail sentence was complete).
Also, it was mentioned in comments and a review that the victim fell in love with the kidnapper, and that wasn't true at all. There was understanding about the kidnappers upringing, but no way did the victim fall in love with him; not that I agree that a bad upbringing is an excuse for kidnapping and sexually abusing someone.

Edit: Changed a word. Dunno why I put film, instead of series.
