Do they end up together in the book though?

Can someone please tell me the end evolved around the 3 best friends?! I don’t want their friendship to fall apart at the end!? I skipped to the end from ep 5 to see what would happen and I saw lee se joo asking how his 2 besties were doing before the girl showed up?! Does that mean the friends fall apart? Can someone please explain if you watched it all!?

Didn’t Hao Lan get brought back to the palace to reunite with her son after he became “emperor” according to the txt at the end? Or did I understand that part wrong?

And can someone tell me the novel ending if you read it? Is it happy?

I didn’t watch it Bc I think someone said it was a sad ending? Is it? Lol Bc I hate sad endings and don’t watch any drama that I found out in advance is sad

So in the novel the bro dies in the end but the girl doesn’t because she gets saved then?

Like it can technically just be open right? Like the brother might just go on a long vacation to self reflect and then return?

ehhh... i heard the book ended badly. if i remember correctly the girl apparently dies of cancer and the guy realizes he really did love her. he does divorce his wife but its too late to marry her at the end. i think deng lun's character moves on in the end of the book. FOR THE DRAMA its kinda open? like she ends up ditching her wedding with deng lun's character, and then she disappears and no one knows where she is. then fast forward to the near future the main guy goes to the place where he built that balcony for the girl to watch birds. he goes there and looks at the birds through binoculars and there he spots the girl through his binoculars standing on the balcony he built also looking at the birds. and basically from there the narrator kinda just says how if he finds her again he'll never let go. all this basically just takes place in the first 5ish mins of the last ep and then that WHOLE last ep is like a recollection of events from the whole drama. so i mean i guess you can interpret it as a happy ending if you want to imagine that he goes up to her and brings her home and find a cure for her cancer. hope this helps!

YAS! i loved the chinese version of scarlet heart . i watched it a few yrs ago. i watched the first and second one. loved the first one. the second one helped me accept a happy ending though lol. and princess agents was sooo good. i heard they might be making . season 2 but not the same actors?? idk but i wish it would be the same actors. i dont watch c-movies much or any asian movies because they are usually so short so it leaves you wanting more or it feels so rushed but ill check that one out if i have time. i just prefer dramas :). i've seen like everyone out there or chose not to watch for c dramas so im just slowly waiting for new ones to come out now lol

So in 15 yrs migratory bird u will ship him with the main lead but since she's not the main dude he obviously doesn't get him but afterwards he becomes the main dudde in another drama with the same girl and it's a happy end and u can watch that to get over ur second lead syndrome lol. I like him and yangzi together but bc I've seen so many dramas before of them getting paired with others I don't mega ship this couple as much lol

Ya loved that one. Empress ki was boring for me until ep 2 lol. But ya. I’ve watched just about every cdrama and kdrama our there that’s popular. More of cdramas Bc I’m Chinese lol but ya. I’ve watched boys over flowers in the Chinese version. Taiwanese and Korean. Loved it alllll. I love Zhao liying’s dramas the most so I’m waiting for the one with her and feng shao feng to come out lol

If I haven’t its most likely because I chose not to watch it for reasons like sad endings and stuff. It’s great. Love yang zoo and deng Lun. U should watch 15 years waiting for migratory birds. Deng lun was in that one. It was a great drama!
