Fantastic drama. I was really invested. I got more than a little heated when SSJ's dad was "You've always been…
Right from my childhood when i was like 5, I have always been "independent" bcz i had and still have working parents who both work for 10 hrs a day 6 days a week, So I do get ur point. I too have been told to be independent and try to solve everything on my own as much as possible. It does feel frustrating but i have adapted to live like that now :/
This drama is the perfect example of how you take a very simple plot idea and execute it really well. Everything from acting, music and characters were done really well. Ha Rin's reasoning for the bullying was honestly very dumb but that kinda justified her psychopathic behaviour. Overall i loved it from start to the end!
its not that bad if u just basically switch off your brain. Don't think too much or care much about any characters and i think you'll be fine (Its just that the cringe moments sometimes overpower the funny ones). Nowhere close to the 1st season but i still enjoyed some moments that made me push through all 16 eps.
Even tho i can perfectly hear and speak, i somehow find myself relating the most to cheung ah. That is exactly how i was in high school, barely interacting with anyone, too shy to speak to anyone, keeping everything to myself and never letting it out. Thankfully i am not like that anymore but cheung ah somehow struck a chord with me.
I wonder sometimes why shows like these are not watched by more people. I enjoyed most of it. The music at times overpowered the dialogues where I could barely hear them speak, but other than that, a very engaging watch.
Great start but fell apart towards the end just like their relationship! I still don't quiet get the reason for…
Oh another thing I forgot is that its shot beautifully so even if you aren't particularly interested in the story, the camera work is enough to keep you glued :)
Great start but fell apart towards the end just like their relationship! I still don't quiet get the reason for the break up(they would have been perfectly fine in a relationship and her as an idol). Won Jun acts all mature for some moments and completely dumb the other times. I did start to watch cause of Bae Suzy and she was the sole reason for me to keep watching till the end. It is still a good watch but very frustrating towards the end.
Undoubtedly the best cdrama of the year imo! the story felt really natural and mature for the most part and i also enjoyed the chemistry between different characters and not just the leads. really good watch and glad i found this drama.
Just like taxi driver s02, this drama has also unfortunately fallen prey to lackluster writing in the sequel. I had a lot of hopes for this one since taxi driver disappointed me but alas. I just hope now that fiery priest s02 and Sweet Home s02 do not do the same thing! Fingers crossed!!
i find it funny how lily's character did a full 360 with how she behaves in the latter half of the show. I would not call it character growth as it was very abrupt for me.
ok i really liked this drama and the way it goes on. The leads are mature, they understand and care for each other no unnecessary misunderstandings or conflicts. But man. did they run out of time towards the end? Like why was everything so rushed and put together? not complaining tho as i liked that it wasnt your usual cliche cdrama
i enjoyed it overall although there was some boring stuff in between. The funny thing for me was how the product placements were not so subtle at all as we see in a lot of kdramas now
I had a similar issue with this one like a lot of people already mentioned. It is entertaining and funny for most of it but felt like that they dragged it towards the end which made it boring.
Ha Rin's reasoning for the bullying was honestly very dumb but that kinda justified her psychopathic behaviour. Overall i loved it from start to the end!
