dare i say this is the best GL drama? i mean sure, the list of GL dramas is not that big but compared to love senior and GAP, this feels like a masterpiece. Also i wished there were more scenes with aylin and ongsa, they had great bonding as cousins (since no one pointed that out)
Why is everyone comparing it with Squid game? This has way better depth and closeness to reality.
i do agree with ur point that it has more closeness to reality but its story is not that great imo. the plot is max 4 eps but it is stretched to 8. and as far as why people are comparing this to squid game is cause of its similar initial premise and the fact that both shows are korean and also on netflix
I can see why it has less viewership as it is not for everyone . It is slow, sad, depressing at times and with a lot of tears!! and yet I loved❤️ every second of it !! The leads have really good chemistry and i love how they respect each other's decisions. and of course the OST❤️!!
Brilliant! Just brilliant! Thats the only thing i can think of ! Really good screenplay, acting, chemistry, OST and pretty much everything else. However can someone explain 2 things which I did not get the answer to? 1. Why did LuDi not enter the loop when Shiqing saved him since xiao heyun entered the loop similarly? 2. Why didn't MengMeng's parents just empty the bus if they wanted to die instead of trying to kill everyone on the bus (they could've still blown up the bus at the bridge without anyone else dying)

for a netflix series to have S2, there needs to be enough hype or makers must already tell netflix in advance that there are going to be more seasons. unfortunately none of these seem to be the case for this one. i also remember extracurricular(korean series) had a superb S1 but S2 is nowhere to be seen!
It is a very fun and easy to watch series. A bit surprised that more people have not watched it. All the scenes involving the zombie gang were hilarious. I almost died laughing when they all sat in the middle of conflict to sit and have tea😂
ok finally watched this after months of constant reminding from my bestie. Pros: Absolute Fire Chemistry between 2 Leads! (so much i could feel it through the screen🤗). The OST is arguably the best i have heard across any c-dramas. Top Notch Acting from almost everyone. It is really well shot, like u could see where the budget was spent( well having Netflix on ur side helps)
Cons: I really only have one which is that the story feels fairly week in comparison to the rest of it.(everything else is like 9 and story is maybe 5.5 to 6 max)
Fantastic drama. I was really invested. I got more than a little heated when SSJ's dad was "You've always been…
Right from my childhood when i was like 5, I have always been "independent" bcz i had and still have working parents who both work for 10 hrs a day 6 days a week, So I do get ur point. I too have been told to be independent and try to solve everything on my own as much as possible. It does feel frustrating but i have adapted to live like that now :/
This drama is the perfect example of how you take a very simple plot idea and execute it really well. Everything from acting, music and characters were done really well. Ha Rin's reasoning for the bullying was honestly very dumb but that kinda justified her psychopathic behaviour. Overall i loved it from start to the end!
its not that bad if u just basically switch off your brain. Don't think too much or care much about any characters and i think you'll be fine (Its just that the cringe moments sometimes overpower the funny ones). Nowhere close to the 1st season but i still enjoyed some moments that made me push through all 16 eps.
Even tho i can perfectly hear and speak, i somehow find myself relating the most to cheung ah. That is exactly how i was in high school, barely interacting with anyone, too shy to speak to anyone, keeping everything to myself and never letting it out. Thankfully i am not like that anymore but cheung ah somehow struck a chord with me.
I wonder sometimes why shows like these are not watched by more people. I enjoyed most of it. The music at times overpowered the dialogues where I could barely hear them speak, but other than that, a very engaging watch.
