I own two basses and one of them is an Epiphone too! (I left my guitars at home when I migrated to the U.S. too expensive to "pack" them. :P ) My other bass is an ESP with a Larc~En~Ciel sticker. Haha. Yep, I'm a fan. Got the sticker when they played at Madison Square Garden.

There's actually 2 dramas for GTO. Two different actors. I can't really give an opinion because I haven't seen them yet. I'm a huge fan of the anime though!!
The dyed hair and the attitude, omg, perfect actor for Onizuka!!

One Pound Gospel is another classic romantic-comedy Kame jdrama! :) Yes, what you said about Anego and Sapuri made perfect sense! I do love asian horror movies. The Ring pretty much started it all for me. :) I've seen both the Japanese and Hollywood productions.

My percussion knowledge is limited to programming beats or telling the drummer some ideas. I just don't have the motorskills to play. lol. I'll probably give the Xylophone a whirl one of these days. No wonder you're a Beatles fan!(I envy your mom haha) "All My Loving" is a fun song to play too, especially on bass. :)

Yes! He's perfect for the role!! I actually wish that they cast him for Onizuka(GTO) after seeing this series. I also agree with you on your comment about Riisa, she really did good especially on the rooftop scenes. Those are my favorites.

Very true! I actually discovered another commonality:
We have the same reasons on why we have so few K-dramas on our list. Haha.

Same exact story here! I pretty much grew up listening to all sorts of stuff. I can still remember my mom teaching me the words to "Fly Me To The Moon" so that I can sing it during family gatherings. Hahaha. I was a preschooler back then. My dad also played when he was young. He was a drummer. Same era as your parents.

Yep! Classic choices you got there, more on the blues side. :) I bet you reviewed a certain, 20 minutes long, Iron Butterfly song. Haha.
In my opinion, the less than stellar effects is what makes this movie memorable. It's an acquired taste. :)

The Four Seasons, The Beatles, The Everly Brothers, The Ventures, Connie Francis, Frank Sinatra, etc. :) My taste in music pretty much ranges from doo-wop to jpop. (it rhymes, lol)

You should give it a whirl! It's a good drama! I haven't seen Last Cinderalla yet but it's the same actress portraying the same role. :)

Good points you have there!(I agree with everything) One thing that I also like about these age gap dramas is when the characters sometimes try to compromise or just plain change for their partners. It just shows that one can really make something "odd" or "awkward" work if one is willing! Anego(A very underrated show btw) is a good example of this.
