I know this is late, but yes you should watch it. At first I was also very hesitant to watch it because of those facts, but once you get past them it's really an amazing drama.

Article TOP 10 "So Bad, but So Good" Dramas
I liked hana yori dango a lot actually. I didn't find the female lead annoying, and she be actually pretty Charming sometimes. The humor could be pretty funny, and overall it's really just my favourite remake. (Not saying I liked any of the others, I dropped BOF at episode 6)

Such a sweet drama. I have to say, some episodes did get draggy and I read recaps instead f9r about three of them, but I loved the characters so much. The ghost is probably one 9f my favourite drama characters of all time! I Would give it an 8 for enjoyment and characters anndd music because that music was good!

I loved the drama, but some parts could be slow. Had a great start but I felt it went downhill from around episode 5/6 maybe a little before or after, since I watched it a while ago. Overall I give it an 8 for enjoyment and music.
