Sadly yes, it was obvious from the moment they cast a kpop singer as one of the main leads. I came for Woo Do Hwan, and even now I'm so disappointed with his character. I mean.. did they really dare name this show "The Great Seducer"? My goodness, where is he! He's catching feelings for his naive and bland prey even faster than your typical kdrama ML. Plus he already wants to give up on the bet and on Soo Ji AND there are still 20 episodes to go, yeaay! Tbh I don't even know why I'm watching this, maybe just for Soo Ji and See Joo. Apart from them, everyone in this show makes me mad at some point and I'm skipping all of Tae Hee and Shi Hyun's lovey dovey scenes. Ugh. Sorry, that was my rant of the day lol
The only person who according to me acts badly is the girl who plays Joy's best friend, like everything about…
Here's my theory: you've heard of the "Ugly friend effect" right? Where standing next to a less attractive mate makes you appear comparatively more attractive... ? Well perhaps they applied the same principle while choosing Ko Kyung Joo, to make Joy's acting look flawless by comparison lol
Y’all are so salty about joy’s acting but I’m sure you can’t act .... her acting will not make you stab…
"I'm sure you can't act" : sure, but neither do we get cast as main character in a drama so it doesn't bother anyone.
That being said, Joy's acting is quite bearable until now (can't say the same regarding the actress who plays her best friend), but she's not as good as the other leads. And that's normal! I just can't see how someone who's originally a singer can get such an important role with so little experience. No hate on Joy at all, but this system is so unfair towards professional and talented actors. They sometimes have to struggle for years to get what she got -seemingly effortlessly- thanks to her idol status.
Even though I really liked Joy in The Liar and His Lover I just don't think she was the right person to cast for…
Yes yes yes and yes, Ryu HwaYoung and Woo Do Hwan were killing it in Mad Dog and I was so hoping to see them reunited! Needless to say my expectations towards Do Hwan's new partner are quite high after shipping those two, Joy better not screw up!
Guys so i started watching this drama but its really shallow and it makes me sad....why are pretty girls the one…
The 5 first episodes (out of 6) got me questioning my worth as a fairly average looking human being lol, it was quite frustrating... But as many have said the end was cuter than expected and it's really short so why not continue! :)
I know right?! I'm always very slightly disappointed when she comes back to her real self, she makes such a pretty doll with those long hair and cute dresses (yup I'm shallow but she's honestly so perfect though ♥). Edit : Oh and your profile pic is hilarious btw!
As for me...: http://viewasian.com/drama/because-this-is-my-first-lifes
I use an add-blocker so I didn't notice the adds; this website worked perfectly fine with me (and the episodes are available in 1080p which is nice :). Anyway sorry for the delayed answer, hope you found a way to watch this drama!
