Well It took me two sessions to watch episode 16, I had a 5 hour Intermission caused by having to go back to work.…
It was so nice to see an ex Fl character to actually let go of past and embrace her present and work towards the good of her future. Usually ex FLs in kdramas are portrayed evil bitches till the end who has no hope. But actually people aren't always bad just bcz of one event, redemption and guilt are liberating too. This was shown in CL which was commendable.
Talking about last minute plotholes, crammed storyline, boring episodes for putting mystery plot and blah blah and then lowering the ratings and of course how can we forget the special viewers who for some stupid reason rate it 1.0 even before watching it completely ,
I just want to tell that its just a piece of fiction which is bound to be unrealistic or not perfect as we always except. I mean come on nothing can be completely perfect we do in life. Constructive criticism as by which it can be known where it needs correction is appreciated. But then people come and say this actress acts flat, I hate that ex Fl scene which takes too time screentime or age-gap between them is so big and whatnot. All this is immaterial age-gap between parents are common and in this drama everything was consensual so what's the big deal.
Its a piece of drama made for entertainment which is shown in such a way the director sees fit. We cannot just expect that this scene should come ,this shouldn't. The thing is its necessary to do show things orderly so that the main idea the director wants to convey to audience can be properly understood.
So if we complain that it was not pure romance, fl character was not dynamic its unfair. The director introduced the murder mystery concept to convey the core message of empathy and kindness in a fun and intriguing way so that viewers can get hooked. And dramas always are over the top or if it is shown too much according to reality I am sorry to say we can just sit back and live our life and see these examples, we don't need dramas for that. And if the show has succeeded in making us realize the moral then well done CL.
What bugs me that how did Segi arrive at the accident scene of NGJ ? I mean as far as we know he didn't know about the whole Kang Min and Secretary Jo bet and the subsequent hitting him with car. So how did Segi know when and where to come exactly that night ? Or it can be mere coincidence and he was just following NGJ ?š¤ I mean what was his purpose to go there ? Just to watch him dying ?
