Hello Twinklers. This has nothing to do with the drama, but I was wondering if any of you had good recommendations…
Stay with me showcases a really nice friendship between 2 boys (the og work is a romance tho, was adapted differently). Super binge worthy.
Unforgettable is a very good movie with a great friendship grp. Only a bit of romance but definitely not the focus!
I’d say the devil judge also has an amazing dynamic between the leads. They’d literally die for each other.
And Navillera showcases such a beautiful and supportive story between 2 people from different generations. They almost feel like family. My all time fav show and honestly a must watch.
btw guys who are y’all’s main couple and side couples🧍 like not the writer’s, but which one do you like…
CheongChan all the way. I’m eating up every crumb I’m getting. I’ve been enjoying EY and EG’s interactions the past 2 weeks tho. They’re cute and that umbrella scene was such a highlight.
Haven’t watched a single ep but her and that villain dude are doing smth to me. I keep seeing edits of them and they look mighty good together. Don’t come for me idek what this dude did. Also imagine a wolfcut on him..😵💫
god forbid that yichan is deaf because being deaf is so horrible and cheongha has a horrible life because shes…
Huh? The whole point of CheongAh's backstory is to shed light on how deaf people are mistreated, not to suggest they are the problem. No one is saying her life is bad because she can't hear; it's the people in her household who don't know how to handle the situation, that make her life difficult. Keep in mind, this is 1995, a different time with less acceptance for people with hearing impairments. The show is making it very clear that outside of her abusive home, she has a great and fun life. Idk what you’re trying to get at.
Also you’re acting as if expressing a desire for a character not to lose their hearing is the same as claiming that being deaf is a terrible thing. Obviously EG wants to prevent his father's hearing loss because he believes it will make his life easier and he wants him to continue enjoying his involvement in the band and his love for music. Plus no one wants their loved ones to lose one of their senses. There is no pity involved. You're missing the point entirely.
I do not think so. Remember, Yi Chan met Cheong Ah at a sign language academy which means Yi Chan was already…
I mean usually if people lose their memory their friends will show them pictures, videos and reminisce about what they previously did. Don’t know how he could possibly not be reminded of his achievements as a frotnman in his band by everyone around him. Especially his wife who obviously knew in their other timeline despite them not being friends during school days.
Memory loss would definitely be a disappointing decision imo but your explanation hits hard tho. It’s sad to imagine him just not remembering any of the great times he had in that band and during his youth.

Memory loss wouldn’t make sense to me simply because he’s so defensive about his son getting into music. I always thought it was due to him losing his hearing and not being able to participate in music anymore, therefore projecting his own isses and fears on his son. Idk why else he would have such strong objections to it.
The first half of the ep was so cute and fun I completely forgot the distressing shit that was shown in the ep 14 preview. Hit me like a truck. 2nd half was so sad; I want to hug CheongAh. Her dad is disgusting for ignoring the awful treatment his daughter is going through. There is absolutely no reason as to why a parent would let their child be treated like this. He needs to parent tf up and stand up for his child.
