The problem is that itâs been 10 years. He is well aware that nothing is going to happen between them (like you said money plays a big role because he wants to be able to be financially stable first so he can give her the best life but she also made it clear that thereâs nothing going on imo) so for his own well-being he should just go out into the world, meet other people so he can stop clinging onto Juhee and his delusions about them possibly getting back together. I donât particularly have an issue with him being close to her because i like their friendship and appreciate the way they take care of/support each other but the show is just really pushing this ââboth leads cant get over herââ concept which is very annoying to me. He was going to switch parents and use this to his advantage to get with Juhee, which i find very manipulative since he was trying to deceive her (good thing he backed off, but still the thought and intentions were there). This whole romance plot is just ruining the show for me and they couldâve done so much better especially when a good source material already exists. Also the reason why she didnât feel anything for him doesnt have anything to do with his money or him being ââweakââ. Like she said ,,he changedââ. He simply isnât the SC she fell in love with and no switch will change that

Personally I adore SkyPai but i have to agree with you regarding Peats acting. I think he manages majority of the scenes really well but I imo he wasnât able to fully portray the whole ââSky is unable to cryââ part which is why many people probably arenât aware that this is a canon thing. The execution was just off and even I as a novel reader was confused as to what exactly they were going for if iâm being honest. Also theyâre doing the cast dirty with that terrible sound quality and the random cutting and transitioning from scene to scene. Really ruins some of the scenes for me. Idk why people act like itâs not a big deal when that just shows lack of professionalism on the producers/teams part. They shouldâve hired people who donât constantly fuck up the sound or editing. And i mean that in the nicest way possible lmfao

The latest ep was honestly extremely boring (had to watch on 2x speed to make it through oh god) and filled with unnecessary scenes.
