Where DO you see the romance?😭 I feel like peak romance was the lantern festival—so cute and it was clear there was smth between them. After that, it fell flat and they went in different directions. Now it’s just cold. Every now and then, the ML protects the FL, but it just feels like two people being “allies” (not even really that, since there’s still distrust) rather than two people with real feelings for each other. The fact that, after everything, they still haven’t managed to truly trust each other…
I don’t mind the way they are rn but that initial romantic build up was for nothing.

I was absolutely obsessed with this until ep 19. All I thought abt was this show😭 I feel like the plot has just been going in circles ever since with no real development.

IMO the leads would’ve been such a power couple.
It’s probably for the best that the FL doesn’t have to worry about losing another loved one, but their relationship had so much potential.

I didn’t excuse her behavior tho. I just pointed out that the dad isn’t remorseful.
I don’t like how FL has been acting recently either and I miss her behavior and scheming during the first half. She seemed so composed and actually thought everything through.
Also I don’t believe that any serial killer is capable of feeling remorse. They just hate that they’ve been caught and and want the public to see them in a better light. Aka FL’s dad.

It always makes me roll my eyes at how easy it was to frame someone back then💀 ZSY puts on a little act and accuses ZRY of killing the grandfather and if YX wouldn’t have intervened that would’ve been it for her like… what.

Nah the Father is a monster. His ‘’remorse’’ is just an act in order to get what he wants, but it backfired with XW as she didn’t give a single shit abt his excuses anymore and was willing to die instead of accepting his speech abt no one loving him. He doesn’t feel guilty for what he did and he continues to deceive, lie and manipulate. Also ‘unwanted consequences’ doesn’t apply when he planned to destroy XW’s family and rob her of her ability to walk and be independent.
He literally just married off his daughter to an abuser just so he could protect himself. He doesn’t care abt anyone but himself.

She should’ve just killed him a long time ago when she had the chance. Now she’s somewhat responsible for also protecting FYX family due to their deal, so her acting in a rush isn’t helping her situation. She’s been trying to get revenge on ZSY for such a long time but nothing has really happened yet besides her getting more and more aggravated and acting on her emotions.

I honestly don’t even care what ending this will have as long as the father dies. I’m tired of his ass.
I feel like this show has been moving into the direction of FYXs death.

FL was such a baddie in the first half. Why is she constantly acting out now? I loved how despite being hurt she was always able to put on a facade. I understand that her mother’s death took a toll on her and she wants to get revenge asap, but atp she should know that she’ll only achieve her goals if she stays composed and doesn’t rush it.

Happy ending as in the main villain will finally receive proper punishment? Yes.
But I don’t think we’ll get a happy ending for the leads lol maybe they’ll end up as proper frenemies but that’s abt it

‘’While navigating their relationship they fall in love’’ it’s literally in the synopsis of the show and it has a romance tag. It was obvious from the beginning that this wasn’t gonna be a romance focused show but you’d expect at least some sort of romance between the lesds. We’re almost at the end and they still don’t fully trust e/o.
I love that it focuses less on romance and more on revenge but atp they should just remove the tag lmfao

initially I thought they would be in love by ep 22… ep 23 and one still deceives the other sksksk they had this tension pre marriage but now everything between them feels weird idk

I think the most we’ll get by ep 30 is the leads trusting e/o💀 Idk how they’ll turn this into a romance atp. I like their dynamic but can we pls have an ep 15/16 repeat at least😭😭

Somehow the last 3-4 eps weren’t really my cup of tea. Something feels off and I found myself super bored during todays eps. Ever since she got married and the mom died my enjoyment went down a bit.
Hopefully the last few eps are gonna be just as good as the first half of the show.

CJ crying at FL getting married kinda makes me think she has a crush on her. Girly did not look happy when she saw HY stepping out of the bridal carriage 😭😭

It hurts to constantly see women being mistreated. I’m glad HY spoke the truth about the ridiculous societal rules regarding women. Why should women have to stay loyal to their dead husbands while men are allowed to not only remarry but also have concubines and bed servants? It’s so messed up.

I gasped at the reveal. Never in a million years would I have guessed

I love how the Zhuang family is in chaos now after Yuchis death lmfoao the daughter is so done with her mom. Also ZRY and HSY teaming up was so cringe. That eye contact😭💀
