I agree with your perspective on the comedy. I think the ‘antagonists’ (talkinh abt hope and his guys, aran etc) should be portrayed as slightly more menacing because, as it stands, they come across as too soft and harmless. At least to me. The holding tatoo and hoy hostage scene was way too unserious for me, especially with that music lmfao. That’s the only thing bothering me

Just rewatched the first ep and as iconic as this show was when it aired, 2020 me was absolutely delusional for thinking this was peak😭 I literally thought no upcoming show could be better than this.. Different times

I really liked the first 2 eps. I personally don’t see any cheap production lol this looks pretty good to me. YinWar are delivering, the roles suit them. War with the blond hair has me seated.

i decided to give this another chance and continued watching some eps. I’m on ep 6 so far and the constant product placement is killing me. Like go get those coins but atp they’ll try to sell the beds they’re sleeping on. I usually find PP hilarious but it’s kinda distracting me here.

Fr I cant help thinking abt how the jp versions pacing felt really nice and the plot was way more coherent even tho the eps are like 1/3 of the thai eps length. Everything just makes sense.
No idea why they felt the need to prioritize a musical/play instead of a confession scene that plays a really huge role in Atoms and Matmis relationship😩

I did not enjoy ep 2. GeminiFourth are great actors and I loved their past projects but the acting isn’t doing it for me in this one. The plot feels rushed because there’s hardly any showcase of emotions that make me believe that Atom likes KT. Their chemistry is really off and the characters feel like completely different people compared to the source material.
I don’t like some of the changes they made to the plot and honestly I’m a bit disappointed that they changed up the cinderella part so drastically, it didn’t have that same feeling as the OG storyline.
I’ll honestly just try to forget the jp version and the manga while watching the upcoming eps lol

Literally one of my fav Mangas and they did pretty good on the first ep it was hella entertaining hahah. Their chemistry is so natural I can’t wait for more eps this will be soo good.

I get your point and in RL I’d probably act like that too ngl but it just didn’t have any effect on me whatsoever and kinda left the ending feeling very empty fast paced.

I didn’t want to call it that but I thought so too while watching💀Kinda gave me the creeps how he kept getting close to Tongrat. Relationships like that typically aren’t my cup of tea so I’ll probably drop this after a couple of eps anyway. But let’s see maybe I’ll change my mind.

A 7 is trash on MDL. Anything below that is straight up terrible. I agree that it’s weird but it just works like that on here lol.
