If you keep watching it's not me that compares TY to SY. YH herself literally compares the two. Just know that your argument is much less convincing if you haven't seen the rest of the episodes.

That's not what love is at all. What you described is just delusion and obessesion. What TY did to YH literally traumatized her. You say that TY had a valid reason reason to do that and let's say that was true. Then, what seperates what TY did and what SY did? They are virtually identical actions done for the same purpose, to save someone. However, it is unanimously agreed that what SY did was wrong. TY once loved SY but that all disappeared when she betrayed him. If you give TY a pass then you're just applying double standards simply because TY is a main character.

I don't think that makes it okay in any way. I gave him a pass the first two times beacause their relationship wasn't there yet. This third time heavily disappointed me. He even stated in the preview that she will die soon. It really undermines the trust that they built thus far.

Crazy that he took the risk knowing she's gonna die from that. I honestly cannot stomach that kind of behavior.

You're right, you can never know for sure but it's common knowledge that LBY's family and LY's family have major issues and we as viewers see that too. Her mother probably just wants her to marry into a stable family that doesn't have relationship problems that are irreparable. So she most likely wants a family that doesn't have power struggles for CSS or one that just lies low.

Love is love regardless of the way you express it. I haven't seen such a complex mother character in a while.

Character development implies highs and lows just like real people so yes she's still developing.

They don't exactly care what's valid or invalid. Even if they are wrong it's better to be safe than sorry. Once she's married she's stuck in that deadlock the rest of her life.

She's an interesting character that's not superficial. I would be bored if she was the nice mother archetype.
