I just read the reply to this comment and wow, the double standard is real. We should make a law that straight romance watchers who complain about problematic stuff like age gaps in GLs (and BLs, basically all gay stories) need to prove they're not hypocrites. If they been proven to be ok in straight sgories doing the same thing but complain when it's comes to gay, then they should go to prison.
