I really love this drama. It is so sweet for all 33 episodes. Rather refreshing from all the other angst-type dramas out there. Also, another factor was that the drama chose the perfect lead couple. Wish there was more of this type of drama out there in dramaland.

Kinda liked that ending for Prince of Lan Ling. It's not everyday that you see the female lead dying at the end. It usually is all about the hero at the end. We need more historical dramas with happier endings & centering around the female leads.

I'm trying to love Soo Young's character and trying hard to see any chemistry between the main couple, but I don't think I'll ever get there. Maybe I just don't like the actress' acting methods or like the image she gives off. The one great thing about this drama is the love triangle. Keeps me watching til the end.

I must have a thing for bad boys because my favorite episode is ep 10. I can't help but ship the main lead with the second male lead. I must have the 2nd lead syndrome. LOL.

Just rewatched this again for the 5th time. I really wished they had made a second season. It should have ended with a happier ending. :(

I became an instant fan when I saw her in "Return of the Heiress" even though it was all RAWS. Hope to see more of her Chinese dramas with eng subs

Viki has only 4 out of 5 episodes-- all RAW. The last two eps are not working.

Why am I always coming across Chinese dramas that haven't been subbed yet? I REALLY WANT TO WATCH THIS.

An actual real mermaid and not just a metaphor? Sometimes, a synopsis can be misleading. If this really is about a mermaid (the girl), count me in. Hopefully, they don't drop the "mermaid" aspect in the middle of the series. I really want to watch a supernatural fantasy drama.and not something that'll turn out to be an average drama that we see all the time
