Is it just me or is Mong Hee going to end up with... no one ? How the hell is it possible for the main lead to…
The "family" dramas that I've seen had romance in it and while it may not be all about the main couple as the focus in the storylines, it's unusual for the writer to make the main couple separate and end up with a different partner at the end.
I agree the situation where he's married makes the whole romance forbidden and not acceptable, but if this is how it was going to end up-- then they should have never made Hyunsu married in the first place. This will teach me not to watch while it's still airing. I'll be more cautious when looking for dramas to watch that has more than 30 episodes. I'll wait for it to end and read people's reactions to the ending and decide if it's worth my invested time.

I, too felt cheated after investing all my valuable time to watch this for the main female lead to not get the happy ending with the main male lead. That's ridiculous how the writer messed this drama up so bad. At the final eppie if Monghee does not end up with Hyunsu, I'm rating this very low score.
Truthfully, no, it's not. It's like any other drama out there with similar storylines, except the main male lead is married to main female lead's twin. The lead couple did not even get together (formally) and it's already eppie 42! Just a few more episodes till the whole series ends! I wasted my time on this because of Han Ji Hye. If it wasn't for this lead actress, I would have never started watching this drama since the male lead is already married! Ugh.
Can anyone recommend a really good Chinese historical romance drama? I can't seem to find one after watching this drama. Maybe my standards are too high after finishing this one.
I think this is going to be a very slow english subbed drama that is going to take forever. Any Cyndi Wang fans out there who can move the translation process a little more faster? With longer eps, I tend to wait till near the ending to finish it up in one marathon sitting. But, I noticed with Taiwanese dramas that once subbed, the videos won't stay up for long before it no longer works due to copyright issues. :(
Whoever is in charge of Master's Sun's background music should be hired to do most of the comedy-romance dramas. The music playlist really adds to the scene, whether it's playful, sad, or scary. I really love this drama.
I loved the little jealousy quirks, but, yeah, that ending was a bit disappointing. It felt like last episode was rushed to fit everything, but ended up a little unsatisfying. I think the director was vying for a little artsy in the last scene with the lead's father's friend. It would have been nice if they played out and had closure of the car accident in the last few eps, instead of rushing it in the final episode.
I have to say, I'm glad that I watched this drama. A rare one that has become one of my favorites and gets a 10 rating. I have to give it to the director for making me think that the main female lead ends up with the lawyer. Pretty much assumed that from Ep. 1 and the drama poster didn't help at all with the lawyers on one side and the high school guy on the opposite side.
I love this drama but I felt the last ep was kind of pointless. I'll look at it as an excuse to see Lee Jung Suk…
I loved the last episode! I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it, and yes, while it looked like a filler, it helped audiences like me find closure and get to see the "happy" moments whereas with most dramas, it just ends where the audiences don't get to enjoy about what makes us fall in love with the characters: the humor ;)
There might be a chance that the main female lead ends up with Sang Woo's character, especially after watching "Feast of Gods." In that drama, I assumed Sang Woo might be a 2nd lead.
I think this drama needed better writers. All through the drama series, I felt it became too corny and fake. You can tell a well scripted story without feeling like the drama was just one big filler episodes fest. It was missing a good plotline.
Actually, I was surprised at how much I would like this drama, except for the 2nd lead couple (their story was pointless). The whole story was sweet and a bit funny at times. I know I'll definitely re-watch this later again.
I started watching the first 8 eps and I'm glad I skipped to episode 23 where the male lead believes everyone but the heroine. The "misunderstanding" lasting for more than 5 eps are getting old in asian dramas. Is that all the plotline they could think up to fill the 50 ep slots?? Fillers? Maybe I am just getting tired of these kind of "dramas."
