I will echo many of the comments here. This was a great revenge drama with many twists and outstanding performances. Jang Hyuk was superb as Phil Joo and I would like to give special praise for the actors playing Boo Cheon and Executive Jung. The interactions between those three characters is what I enjoyed most. Oh, and do check out the instrumental pieces from this drama as well. Overall, Money Flower was a great production and IMO an easy recommendation. :)

Wow. I almost dropped this article after reading #1. But seriously, IMO Chicago Typewriter was one of the best dramas of the year. I thought that the story was very original. The actors were very good as well. Now, I understand that this drama may not be some peoples' "cup of tea". But, you owe it to yourself to give this drama a chance. It gets an 8.9 on this site for crying out loud. (Whoops, So does WYWS.) Hehe.

Episode 4.. Wow just wow. Haha.

I also thought Signal was better, but will always have a soft spot for Tunnel, plot holes and all. :) That is because of the emotional connection between the 3 main characters, Kwang Ho, Seon Jae and Jae Yi. IMO, the actors did a fantastic job portraying them.

I agree bananaman! Haha j/k. This drama is moving along very well but it can go many different ways from here on out. If this ends well, then it will definitely be one of my favorite k-dramas to date.

Yea, but how about the possible 2 week wait after that? Will you be able to cope? Personally, it will be tough especially if it's another crazy cliffhanger.

If that is the extent of his role then it truly is a let down. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that we have not heard the last from his story. We can only hope. :)

I agree with you that too many coincidences can hurt a show. However, are these mearly coincidences. It seems that an "outside force" or "anomaly in the time/space continuum" :) has allowed kwang ho to transport exactly 30 years into the future. If we assume that it was the Devine or some other outside force, then kwang ho may have been stratigically placed. He has essentially been sent to the correct time and the right people were placed in the correct locations in order to help him get to the truth.

Yo, had to laugh while reading your comment. It is so right on. Yes. That was a careless move on Jae yi's part. This is typical of a lot of movies/shows. We know that someone will always trip and fall while being chased and someone will always try to do things on there own without getting any help. It can be frustrating but it can also add to the tension. :) Jae yi seems like a smart woman so it is hard to believe that she would do that by herself. I'm sure she can see that the two main guys are pretty competent. She obviously should have trusted them. As for kwang ho, the proper thing to do was to let Jae yi catch her breath and have her looked at immediately. He could have asked about the whistle later at the hospital or something. But, they had to end it on a cliffhanger and the time allotted was coming to an end, so they had no choice. Haha.

This review sums up my feelings pretty much. I stuck around for bong soon. Really cute actress. Also, the actor playing the creepy masked villain was good. He can definitely hold his own against "Mr. nail ring" and the guy with the "library" in the basement. Haha.

Personally, I have yet to come across the "perfect" drama. So, it comes down to how entertaining a drama was for me. I was very entertained by this drama, therefore I gave it a good rating. :)

Did MCS really die? It was implied, but I don't remember actually seeing it happen. In addition, his friend from the hall kept eyeballing that green liquid. Is it possible that he faked his death in order to fulfill his promise to the emperor? Please let me know if I missed something before NIF 2. :)

"Straight guy" here. LOL Thanks for the excellent review. As far as American shows go, I am definitely an action drama, sci fi kind of guy. Typical, right? However, there is something about a good Korean rom com that keeps me coming back. This drama is an excellent example of that. It has tremendous chemistry between all characters, hilarious scenarios with many heart felt moments. A true classic that I can easily recommend as a "straight guy" :)

With a name like, "weightlifting fairy, kim bok juu" I wasn't really expecting this drama to be anything special. I mean, "Come on, weightlifting? Please." But, after finishing this drama I can honestly say that, for me, it was a joy to watch from start to finish. It was a feel good, coming of age story with tremendous chemistry between all of the main characters. A true gem.
