Never liked Xiao Rou’s husband from the start. Always acting sus, conceals things, and suck at communication.…
I was so pissed. I was hoping not to have such a side storyline. I started forwarding through their scenes episodes ago because I saw it going in a scum bad direction.
The FL's character is a bit obnoxious in the early episodes. I guess the game becomes her coping mechanism. The ML is quite patient and respectful in how he handles her approaches, but even I was annoyed.
i think she can decide if she fits a role or not☺️ she does in fact have a more mature role coming out later…
Oh, she decides? I thought her agency, production company, and other stakeholders would weigh more heavily on that decision than the actor/actress, but she is a veteran actress and may have more say in the roles she takes. Either way, I'd love to see her in other roles. :)
I may get some pushback for this one. NJM is young and beautiful, but she doesn't look like the young maiden for these roles anymore. I'd like to see her in a different role.
With very few episodes left, I hope they don't go back to any of the university friends, the college crush she never dated, or his work life (don't care). I hope they stick to the main characters. I have questions that need answers,
Could anyone who has read the book tell what happens with the dumb dad, the scheming first love, and her daughter?
The episodes' cadence is off and gappy. The story is doing a figure eight, and you don't know when they'll come back around to something of interest with particular characters.
UGH! Her dad is stupid... How will he keep his company afloat in the future? I'm with the ex: Why play the villain for someone else, when there is nothing to gain but only damage his relationship with his daughter? His first love is smarter than he is, but her daughter is an idiot. All three of them should fall together at the end.
I'm so glad I decided to watch this one. My issue is that I don't like multiple love stories in one show. I know, it's me. I'd rather stick to the main characters and forget everyone else. Give them their own show and don't overlap the time that could be spent on the main characters with others. HOWEVER, I think this one will be written well. I'll continue to watch and HOPE it doesn't go left.
