Well, I'm currently watching The Untamed, is a Chinese BL turned into bromance because of China's restrictions. I'm on episode 4 and the story is interesting so far(if you're into fantasy), I like the main characters, they have chemistry even though it won't have much skinship, the costumes are beautiful and the special effects aren't so bad(Guardian, I'm watching you!). The only issue so far is that there is so many characters, and you can get confused with the names!! I started watching it because a friend(a fujoshi) recommended to me and because is also very famous. I highly recommend you The Gifted(non BL) and Project S: SPIKE!(this one is one my favorites, and it has bromance, at least for me :P)

Are you talking about chemistry?! Because Mew and Art did had chemistry, the only problem is that most part of the series the characters were fighting. Personally, I didn't like the series either(I only watched it because of Mew), the story wasn't so interesting, the characters sometimes were a mess, of course, this series had a lot of production's problems which ended in changing actors, removing stories etc...
