Just finished first two episodes and I'm glad I did! I finally have a drama to watch. Drama is hilarious. But why I think description is somewhat different? Anyways it has the nice beginning.
It's different, the whole of it was. I fell in love with this one. It was like I was sitting at a cafe prying on some intimate conversations. Each story has so much to say. I was able to watch so many faces of society, relationships. You can feel their emotions so hard. It's not a story where things start in a specific way and end in a specific way. It's much like conversations we all have on daily basis, where there's much to ponder upon afterwards. Despite so many emotions, I find it peaceful too, the ambience of the movie and cafe puts you at rest just like the movie was at one place.
I can write a long essay on this movie, I can. I don't usually cry watching a movie, I don't even remember the last time I cried. But here I cried harder than I've ever expected. It touched me in a way nothing else can. Being a female, the things portrayed through various characters I've seen it all, heard it all. I related with this one on so many levels. I could see glimpses of every single woman I personally know. The things happened with me or the fear I have of some things, it was all there. It was like watching a past, present and future of every woman I know. To me it seems, they've been able to capture every single issue we as a society ignore as large. How much effect it has on individuals is reflected here. In it's subtle and daring depiction caught me hard. I can not pin point even a single negative thing. Actors here are amazing, each one of them!
I was convinced that kdramas no longer interests me, I was. But after gap of months I decided to give this one a chance for it's story, not the actors. And boom! I'm back, this drama became a getaway for me to get back in. I'm sucker for good plots and melodrama when done right. This drama has it all. I'm impressed. I'm totally into it. Waiting is unbearable. I'm again finding myself after months waiting crazily for new episodes. I'm liking thriller element too.
Moon Ga Young, I've seen her before but never thought I would like her this much,she's straightforward unlike many other female leads escaping unnecessary misunderstandings. But the two leads believe and trust each other that you are always rooting for them. She's one awesome female lead.
Kim Dong Wook, who's playing Anchor Lee is on different level altogether. I've never seen him before so I'm liking him much more here. I thought he's going to be stoic having reasons but nope, he's lovable. His smile deserves a separate mention too, I don't usually go gaga over these things but the background story makes that smile much more meaningful.
These two are great and supporting characters too fill up your heart with warmth. This show has got it all for me. I can go on and on but I'll hold myself here. I wish to see more like this one if you can suggest me.

I was searching for these views all my life! I agree with each word you utttered. I hated ML, he was to wishy washy! It was like he wanted both the girls. And yes he wanted his wife to remain poor! Oh my! It was frustrating and yes the real meaning of pativrata is what puts me off the most!
I dropped it at 24 too!
This is going to be a one hell of a ride.. fun and intense. Nailing it completely for now.
